My thoughts: I just bought the 6P (have not received it yet) and when this "crackgate" news broke, I immediately regretted my purchase. I wanted to cancel my purchase right away, but thought to look into the matter before I did. For two days I became/was obsessed with this news. I must have read hundreds of articles and all of them seemed to be referencing the reddit post as the only source. I looked at actual "reputable" sites and even non-phone sites like neogaf and for the life of me could not find anyone complaining about cracked glass. Yes, there were posts, but again referencing the reddit post from earlier. I came to the conclusion that it's not widespread and that either A) these users got a bad luck of the draw and received a bad phone B) the users may have accidentally harmed their phone without knowing it (not calling anyone a liar) or C) maybe they are lying? Either way, the media always tries to find any type of news to run with even if not all the facts are there and makes a big deal of something that is not and give it a stupid name like "crackgate" or "bendgate" and hope that people click their article. Just my two cents and I maybe totally wrong. What do I know?

I am using this mobile since last 1 week.
Here are my impressions for this phone-
1. Very smooth
2. Camera quality very good but not excellent as you would expect on note 5.
3. Screen quality awsome.
4. Sound speakers quality awsome.
5. Finger print sensor very good 9/10 times works.
6. In hand feel of phone is awsome- like iphone.
7. Experiencing minor heating issues sometimes, but not always. Just warm guys i want to mention here.
8. Rest minor lags in settings menu sometimes.
Overall best phone, if you used this phone you can't use another one. I came after using Nexus 5 for 2 years. Overall its a great experince using it. Keep it up Google.

Lol why would you want to bend your phone anyway? It does not bend unless you're going to froce it to bend. The glass is gorilla glass 4 and it's strong as it on any other device. I have the phone I dropped twice nothing happens. This is a solid phone

What for we pay ... moreFirst of all, that bend test that you saw was pitiful, it was a prototype device, and when heating the screen, it made in probably 50x easier to bend. Don't believe everything you see, watch other videos about it.
