Anonymous, 13 Oct 2015It does not have OIS, but it has laser autofocus which helps a lot with the image stabilization. Laser autofocus has nothing to do with stabilisation.
Nexus 6P will likely have software EIS instead of hardware OIS though I'm not sure it will also work while taking photos.
Lack of OIS and Snapdragon 810 are the main points of question. We will see in the reviews I guess

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2015Not buying Huawei Nexus 6P... But why? Any problems this Huawei made device?
Anonymous, 13 Oct 2015It does not have OIS, but it has laser autofocus which helps a lot with the image stabilization. But DxOMark said it perform poorly in stabilization.

athar khan , 09 Oct 2015Awsm device but huwaei not gud brand alsoActually they're pretty good. By far not the worst company. I'd take a 500 series Huawei over an E range Sony (aka the most fautly series phones I've ever dealt with) anyday.
Can you imagine Nexus 6P with S Pen running stock android yet, it still has Galaxy Note features, such as, screen split...
I'd buy that with no hesitation
I'm confused in buying Motorola Nexus 6 or Huawei Nexus 6p
All thanks to you
Cheong, 07 Oct 2015All China's brands are copy king!Right, they said the same thing to Japanese and Korean products decades ago.
chipsetdude, 10 Oct 2015well, since gsmarena going to announce the price of a8, just look at the chipset series! and o... moreYou are outdated already!
Now Huawei and many other Chinese brands also known well for their overpriced goods too!
I won't buy this device just because of display.. I don't like amoled which is really worst over saturated
Sam, 09 Oct 2015No OIS ..bummer ..was waiting for new nexus Nexus 6P rear camera is rank by DxOMark as the world third best smartphone camera, just behind S6 edge(second) and xperia Z5(first). And yes, DxOMark did mentioned it performed poorly in video recording due to lack of stabilization.
AnonD-449796, 10 Oct 2015Okay. So I'm in a bit of a fix. Lost my Grand Prime and need a new phone. Don't know if to go ... moreYou should probably choose nexus6P over A8 because of that extra gig of ram better processor better camera UI advantage and u will get the leatest and greatest of Android. But if u dont worry about battery life u could opt for a S6 or If u get over sonys ugly icons Z4(Z3+) might be the best option for you.
