In addition t... moreOIS does not consume more battery (software stabilisation and EIS does) and it's always on no matter what app you use for photos. Thats the beauty of OIS. I can use Manual Camera with exposures up to 0.5 second or more on my Nexus 5 and still get a clear shot due to OIS working. Also OIS does not produce jelly artifacts while recording video.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2015It does not have OIS, but it has laser autofocus which helps a lot with the image stabilization. Laser autofocus has nothing to do with stabilisation.
Nexus 6P will likely have software EIS instead of hardware OIS though I'm not sure it will also work while taking photos.
Lack of OIS and Snapdragon 810 are the main points of question. We will see in the reviews I guess

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2015It does not have OIS, but it has laser autofocus which helps a lot with the image stabilization. But DxOMark said it perform poorly in stabilization.

Can you imagine Nexus 6P with S Pen running stock android yet, it still has Galaxy Note features, such as, screen split...
I'd buy that with no hesitation
