joe nodden, 27 Jul 2019You're forgetting the fact that they allow you to unlock the bootloader of the phone. Not all people like or have time to modifying their OS. Don't forget that unlocking bootloader means less in security and many financial / banking application can't be installed on unlocked bootloader phone.

I don't even understand how a hexacore Mali G52 MP6 can be just as fast ( at least on antutu ) as a 12 core Mali G72 MP12 ( the same generation ).

The coming up of this unexpected propriatory format was probably decided because Huawei anticipated the US ban. But it was a stupid choice.

Not everyone like ads on its UI and it makes the perfomance of the phone and battery is less than clean UI.

non name, 29 Jun 2019but the kirn 810 is more powerfull than snapdragon 855Lol.. CPU of Kirin 810 is on par with SD845 but the GPU is maybe weaker. But Kirin 810 more efficient (at least on paper).

This could be my alternative to the P30, both have the flat OLED screen, under display sensor. This is cheaper however with a less powerful SOC.
