Hi, I have tried all recommended ways to install google services and play store except the one using lzplay. All of them failed to make google run on this phone. I would not recommend using the lzplay method, because of security issues with the app. I found a workaround for many apps by installing Aurora store which is the open source version of Google store. Still any app that relies on google services will not work properly on this phone. Luckily I do not rely on such apps for my daily usage, and I bought the phone because of the fair price and exceptional camera (It is an subjective thing, but I love the photos this phone makes). However, if you use google apps or apps that rely on google regularly, do not buy this phone.

Although the Nova5i has been Google certified, all the Google apps are not supported in this phone. This means that the Nova5i is useless outside China. Actually all the newer Huawei/Honor phones that have EMUI 9 pre-installed do not support any Google apps.
