Huawei has uneveiled the nova 5i Pro in China - the phone that will likely come to international markets as Mate 30 Lite.

The nova 5i Pro has a 6.26-inch IPS LCD of 2340x1080px resolution, a 7nm Kirin 810 chipset, Android 9.0 Pie and a 4,000mAh battery.

There are four cameras on the rear of the nova 5i Pro and one on the front. The quad camera is comprised of a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide module, 2MP Super Macro unit and a final 2MP depth sensor.

Selfies are handled by a 32MP f/2.0 front-facing camera that's cut into the display.

The 4,000mAh battery supports 20W wired charging that can top up 50% in 30 minutes.

Huawei will hold two flash sales for the nova 5i Pro - today and on August 2. There's a choice between three colors - Black, Green and Blue - and three configurations - the 6GB+128GB costs CNY 2,199 (~€290;INR 22,000), the 8GB+128GB is CNY 2,499 (~€330;INR 25,000) and the 8GB+256GB that costs CNY 2,799 (~€370;INR 28,000).

I prefer LCDs since in phones they don't usually have PWM that cause eyestrain to some people like the OLED ones
