Anonymous, 13 Jul 2020I think that i will buy nova 5t, i just think that it will last me longer since im gonna be us... morewell, you do you. although i doubt it's the best phone right now i still can confidently say it's a good phone that left a little room for regret
i don't have any amoled or high quality display to compare but as standalone it's very good. i love watching video from this phone, it's sharp and have a good color, the hole isn't obstructive as people say and video won't even touch the hole anyway. it's also bright enough to use outside even though i live in tropical country. no complain for the display at all
Sacker, 12 Jul 2020For someone who wanna buy this phone, I don't recommend it... Because 1. The charge i... moreI will going to buy this phone but i never have any xiaomi device so i will not experience any feelings like that, idk if that is downside of my perspective
I don't recommend that phone because since may previous p30 pro stolen and i bought that nova 5t on 1st of may 2020 and i faced an issue with the speakers within the first week , the phone is suddenly stopped the outside speakers and works on the upper speakers only even you play music some one calls you play a video the voices will come from the upper speakers then i went to the Huawei service center in dubai telling them the issue ,they received the device and after 2 days they called me to tell me yes we admitted the issue and you can come to get a new device then i went and i received it after that within 2 days same issue again in the new one and i give it back to them more than 7 times to refund my money and Everytime they telling me we don't know where is the issue and technically the phone is well and they don't want to even admits the videos which I record it for the phone or the screen record showing them clearly that the phone not using loudspeakers and untill now i didn't get my phone after more than 74 days suffering going and coming to the service center without fixing my issue or getting any service from them
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2020I think that i will buy nova 5t, i just think that it will last me longer since im gonna be us... moreI think that i can adapt pretty easely so its not that big of a problem for me i know that the latest huawei phones dont support google serveces,so i can switch to a samsung phone if the ban doesnt end
Been using this device since November 2019, and I can't still figured out what LCD manufacturer equipped on this device. The display is way way better than my previous devices (Redmi Note 7 and 8), and as of now, I don't encounter any image persistent or retention.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2020i'm not saying EMUI is bad (i don't really like 10.1 update but i'm still adapt... moreI think that i will buy nova 5t, i just think that it will last me longer since im gonna be using the phone at least for 2 to 3 years.and i read about all the issues of the n9p on the n9p specs page over here, i saw that a lot of people had problems with auto focus dust getting in the camera charging time being really slow up to 2 and a half hours after the latest updates.I think that im gonna just go on the safe side and go for nova 5t and i have seen n9p in stores and i think that its just too big of a phone since my hands arent that big.And i also think that its just an incovenient phone because of the weight and size.Im just intested in the display of nova 5t what would you say since its an ips lcd display is it good would like to hear from you.
Anonymous, 12 Jul 2020im not that much of a phone gamer my self, I only play games on my pc.i havent used a huawei d... morei'm not saying EMUI is bad (i don't really like 10.1 update but i'm still adapting) but you don't have any options to upgrade unless you want to go Google-less.
i never used miui myself so take my words with a grain of salt but i afaik the ads isn't that intrusive anymore, and i don't think any of my friends that using it have problem with it.
it's my first time hearing the dust problem with 9 pro, i would say it might be defective product but yeah, that's pretty bad
for the charger, iirc some market doesn't give the 30W charger out of the box. if you actually get them it would be charged to 100% in about 90 minutes (which is the same with nova 5t)
i can't say much about the camera since for me it's good enough as long as it got the jobs done. although if we're talking about stock camera i think nova is indeed better
forgot to say, i would recommend you to go to store and try using 9 pro before buying it. 0,5" and 25 g difference doesn't look like a big deal in paper but it is. if you don't mind adapting though, i would say 9 pro definitely have higher value for money
For someone who wanna buy this phone, I don't recommend it...
1. The charge is so quick that you will get bored of it and miss Xiaomi charger..
2. The Update is so many that it makes ur storage maybe full
3. The performance is Butterly smooth that you feel like wanna use Android 5.0 back.
4. Good Ui but you will maybe miss Xiaomi buggy ui
5. Ips Display is Stunningly Good but You Will Miss Amoled :((((((
Anonymous, 12 Jul 2020the battery is efficient and i think it can last for a day with almost 10 hours SOT without ga... moreim not that much of a phone gamer my self, I only play games on my pc.i havent used a huawei device before, and rn im using a samsung phone and i gotta say the ui is amaizing although emiu doesnt look that bad.from what if heard a lot of people say that the note 9 pro has lot of problems like dust getting in the camera charging being really slow and that the miui is really bad because of all the ads. That is my only concern about the note 9 pro.And also the camera, a lot of people say that the camera on nova 5t is better.I mainly use my phone to watch videos, to scroll trough social media apps and sometimes take photos. And a lot of people also say thet the charging time on nova 5t is faster then note 9 pro.btw i can get the note 9 pro for 220 dollars and nova 5t for 300 dollars, and yea idk what to do
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2020I am planning for buying Huawei nova 5t which one is best Huawei nova 5t or Samsung A51The Nova 5T is good at (gaming, battery life, charging, build, screen resolution). The A51 is good at (Design, screen brightness, software, the camera permormance and features). See what you need the most and choose.
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2020im thinking about getting nova 5t or xiaomi redmi note 9 pro which phone would you recommend
... morethe battery is efficient and i think it can last for a day with almost 10 hours SOT without game. you can't do much for gaming though, maybe around 2-3 hours. not bad IMO but mere efficiency won't beat 30% more raw capacity, if you want the longest battery life go for redmi note 9 pro
people here would recommend nova for "flagship performance", "kirin 980 is a beast", "chipser this chipset that". nah, if you are still using more than 3 yo phone, most likely you don't need it, if you just want to play PUBG or Mobile Legends you can do that from rn9p as well, you only got those "performances" if you activate performance mode (which you won't use all the time for the sake of battery), otherwise it's on par with note 9 pro (antutu wise, my phone is 260k-ish while n9p is 270k-ish). i also feels like i got more occasional lag here than my 3 yo oppo f1 with sd 616 while browsing on chrome
another notes to take is rn9p is newer and got Android 10 out of the box so it might be updated for longer while i kinda bet nova 5t will only be updated as long as p30 which is 1 year older.
another point to consider is getting used to EMUI, it's quite minor but you most likely won't get another huawei for your next phone (after nova 5t).of course you might switch to, let's say, samsung the next time you upgrade but at least you have an option to stay on miui but not with emui
i can't say much about camera, it's good IMO, but i'm sure you can use gcam with rn9p while i doubt you can do it here since nova 5 t can't be rooted so there's that
overall, i've been using nova 5t since October and doesn't regret it (although quite disappointed with the lag). it's compact, looks good, and got the job done. it also have better display (96% NTSC vs 84% NTSC on rn9p), more band and aluminum frame for what it's worth. but if i want to buy a phone now i don't think this one will be my choice
buy nova only if you really like the design or NEED better performance, otherwise go for redmi
Kosta, 11 Jul 2020If you want better performance and better cameras go for nova5tYea i think that i will go for nova 5t.i also heard that there are a lot of issues with note 9 pro and that the charging time is really slow the on note 9 pro
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2020I am planning for buying Huawei nova 5t which one is best Huawei nova 5t or Samsung A51I think that you should go for nova 5t. The only good thing on a51 is the display and the headphone jack. If you want better performance faster charging better cameras and longer lasting battery go for nova 5t
