It's down to what you are aiming for the phone itself.
For me I am looking for good phones with minimal interference in background process.
And gaming is one of my biggest interest.
This phone does the job.
820 Kirin is such a great mid range processor at the moment.
And the Game Space can boost the gaming experience in addition to that.
Smooth + Extreme in Pubg no problem.
WhatsApp + Social media also no problem.
But when comes to email etc, especially with Alibaba, it does have some issues.
Luckily I have another phone for business and working, as I do know Huawei doesnt integrate well with GMS.
It doesn't dissapoint at all, it all comes down to your own expectation and information about the phone.
It's a nice looking and excellent mid range 5g phone.

Cabaoth69, 16 Oct 2020Funny, the specs says, launched in 2020 April, but the next line says, Status: discontinued. Huh?!!It's discontinued because Huawei does not have any Kirin processors anymore. Due to the US Ban, they are not able to acquire the materials/parts needed to make more.

Been using this phone since October 1. Got it as a gift from my mom. And so far so good. A very wonderful charging experience. You wont wait for how many hours just to see that your battery is full. Sometimes i charge it before eating breakfast and when i go back to see my phone its already full. You can really experience fast charging in this phone. Its really fast especially if you turn off the data, wifi and bluetooth. And GOOGLE is not a big deal in this phone. Even though it doesnt have a GOOGLE PLAY STORE i can still play my favorite games. And I can still use social media. Its not that bad without GOOGLE. I really like the phone itself. And the memory also. And lets not forget the 5G ability of the phone. Some people purchase huawei phones without watching some videos about huawei phones. Don't buy if you dont know whats inside and outside the phone. Well, I really am thankful of my mom for giving me Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G.

COMMON SENSE, 14 Oct 2020It seems that most of the commenters not aware that huawei does not allow google play and serv... moreStill a very excellent phone,and 5g ready.
So far Petal Search have been helpful for Internet browsing and Huawei appstore didn't dissapoint.
If it doesn't hurt to use such phone with minimum Google service, there's no reason to not go for it.
I have been using this phone about 3days now and the gaming experience is very satisfying
