I ... moreAnyway its your choice if your choosing huawei you can download most of the apps from Apkpure. But the heating issue on Realme 6 i don't think thats a big issue though just do your research and choose one because i think huawei nova 7i and realme 6 both are very good smartphones. And i think its a hard choice anyway if your looking for huawei just look at all apps you want and just see weather it will work without GMS. Most of the apps works but there are some apps that need google mobile services(gms) for example youtube you need gms so you have to watch on YouTube mobile website and google chatting and video call apps like google duo that all need GMS though there is a workaround.

I ... moreFirst of all, there's no such thing as "fast battery degradation with mediatek", the Realme 6 seems to be the safest choice for you. The main advantage you get from the nova 7i is performance, and I'm not just talking about the soc, the software is smooth and well optimised too, something that became a rarity at this price. On the long term, from my experience, huawei phones (good ones) tend to age just fine, but I can't judge the Realme as I've never tried any of their devices.

The overall phone quality is very good as well and the camera is solid. Do you shoot that many videos to consider stabilization as an important point?
You can install Google services but it's a workaround. If you cannot live without Google services I'd say you need to do more research online.

Can somebody help me? Im having a hard time choosing between Huawei Nova 7i and a Realme 6. I want the 7i but it has no google play services and I badly need google apps like play games and such, and no video stabilization but the chipset is what makes me want it plus less heating. As for Realme 6, 90hz isn't that bigdeal for me but it has google play services and has video stabilization, but im afraid that the battery will degrade fast bcs of it's mediatek chipset and I live in a tropical country which makes the fast heating prominent. I'm still a student and I can't afford changing phones every year, and I just play ML, COD and PUBG most of the time.

I advise you to get the nova 7 SE if you want the 5G version of it. You'll get faster data connectivity(if your area has 5G support), more megapixels main camera, but with a slightly lesser battery. This of course, you have to pay more.
