I ask because I also have a P30 and I am currently trying to choose a replacement and that Galaxy is one of the options I am considering...

Since the "upgrade" to EMUI 12 this phone is worth nothing. Reception of both data and phone calls doesn't work half of the time, audio is very bad, hard to hear anything, phone is slow, heats up very quickly, and battery life is very short.
Since it's impossible to go back to EMUI 10, this phone is now really a piece of junk and I really don't recommend it,
And on top of it Huawei support is a total waste of time - I would never by anything form Huawei again.

I don't know what are the prices in your country or are you even buying for a new or used phone.

I´ve had this phone since its release, so around 3 1/2 years now. I´m really pleased with it and till today it works perfectly fine, is still quick enough for all my apps and needs.
But lately i´ve been thinking for a replacement. Can someone suggest a good alternative? My budget is max 400 € (Germany). I know I will not get some highend phone, but there are a lot of options in this budget. How about it? Thanks!

I downgraded. Now I heard there is a fix and updated to 12.0.0.134. Battery is still draining very quickly. Overnight in idle mode, battery falls 25-30%
