Can anyone please tell me how to upgrade to EMUI 12? I've been looking for the update ever since it was announced, but so far, no update.. Settings say you have the latest version, EMUI 10. I don't have a local sim though, I'm using an international one, and the region set is the UK, I wonder if this interferes with the update rollout procedure?

I am using since 2019, phone is good no problem. Battery is also good. When i use 4 years. Not expecting much from phone. Its value for money phone.

I have a problem with mine, the WIFI and bluetooth keep switching themselves off.

The huawei p30 lite is like an replica of an honor 10 lite, same processor they even reused the lipo battery, like when i repaired the phone they delivered me an honor 10 lite battery and it worked. And i think the only thing they changed about this phone is the ram and storage

i've got this phone early 2019 and still using its incredibly good, for gaming its decent mostly i play wildrift on medium with 60fps and work perfectly not single framedrop or overheat, in my experience with this phone doesn't have big problem like broken software/hardware recently only the volume button need to press a little harder but overall its good phone

Huawei P30 series are the last good mobiles for reasonable prices... Huawei made them so good and this is a reason why huawei doesn't have google any more. This is play between apple and samsung, it is not about american or chinese politics... This was a simple warning, start making phones good as all others phone, or we will destroy you... P30 lite is still good today, and p30 pro still has few things better then p60pro

Probably one of the last good cheap Huaweis before the whole Google services debacle.
I had mine from May 2019 up until March 2023. It was an amazing phone until the very end of my use with it. Ran fine, battery is still good, thanks to the smart charging feature that they added a while back.
Camera was alright, it had some stupid sharpening effect which made small details in pictures look wavy, but the pictures still came out good. Like any phone at this price point, the camera struggles in low light or night time.
I refused until the very end to update to the newest EMUI. Completely spoils the UI of the phone and you can see how hard they are trying to copy features and UI design from Apple.
One thing which I absolutely adored about it was the Peacock Blue colour. I wish more manufacturers did these crazy colorways.
I have now switched to an iPhone 14, but the P30 lite will hold a place in my mind as one of the last true greats from Huawei.
