Since late 2019 have it
Updated last month to huwaei's 12 version software
It's still has Google Services everything works fine.
One of greatest phones I had.
Unfortunately the new ones do not have Google Services.
Huwaei made one of the best phones still can keep up with new models.
No need to change my phone

If your talking about games and banking apps they are already working on it. I loved how my Huawei survive almost 2 days of life

Just had my p30 for a short time now and find it to be very good. To save on ware on the charging port I was hoping to charge it wirelessly but am not sure if it supports this. Maybe somebody more in the know could advise me on this.

I had no problems until the EMUI12 update, since then nothing on the phone works apart from Spotify and Facebook/meta-messenger. I can't load videoes, or stream on any streamingplatforms. My alarmclock freezes instead of going off. Most apps are now unable to make any sounds on the phone and either freezes or crashes instead when I try to activate sounds. The phone was decent before the update, now it is impossible to use. It is so bad, I would rather use a phone from the early 00s. But the battery still seems to function well even after 2,5 years of use.

I was one of the first people in SA to get the Huawei P30 lite New Edition and many said there wasn't much difference between the old and new versions. I can't really comment as to that but if that is indeed the case then Huawei made a stunning device that has now gone through it's warranty period. I've received my upgrade which honestly is nice but I still love my P30 lite it's still my primary handset. Great value for money. And very much in demand in our country even today.

the cursor for the note pad is really troublesome
+ gives problem right after i updated to emui 12
but it becomes a little bit smoother as in general
&has anyone encountered the same for notepad

Emui 12 working like a Charme. Phone seems faster and Animation feels smoother. Nice multitasking feature. Overall worth to upgrade. All aps working without any problem. Google services work as good as they can 🙂

Lol, 17 Aug 2022HUAWEI phones that have Google Will never lose Google, no matter how many updates are coming. Even if we are migrated to Harmony OS? or those devices will stick to Android based EMUI and not get Harmony OS
