I had a P30 Lite Version and by my experience it's very worth it. It's so Durable and not that laggy compared to low end phones. So by the looks of it this pro version is even better. I can't wait to get this one myself.
Anonymous, 30 Jul 2024Please don't bother buying this phone. We bought 4 of them and they are not worth it at a... moreThis cannot be true. Today in 2025 there are thousands of users who are still using this phone, just like me, and they have not encountered the slightest problem.
I can also tell you that I have other Huawei devices in my collection, all of which are characterized by premium quality.
Smartwatches, tablets or smartphones are all exceptional
I think the oldest device I have is the 11-inch tablet, MediaPad with quadro sound powered by Harman / Kardon equipped with an electronic stylus (digital) that supports a pressure sensor which makes it can be used as a real pencil, if you press more it will draw thicker lines, and if you don't press it will draw thinner lines.
Another impressive feature is the DNLA system that allows you to control the tablet with the TV remote control if you project video/audio on your smart TV. Wi-Fi 5 GHz, but also 2.4 GHz obviously. I also chose the model with SIM.
It doesn't lack anything, and when I want to show my friends what Huawei made in 2018, I connect it to the Soundbar and invite them to the party.
The sound quality is studio
And all this with Android 5.1.1 and a Huawei 2017 project when they designed it.
It's not just the version of Android that matters, but the concept of the manufacturer and the user. Ha!
Best wishes!
Gize, 13 Mar 2025Hi everyone!
is it worth it in 2025?
Yes, is like Highlander 😇
Without any joke it works perfectly. I've had it since 2020 and none of the problems described by users who posted negative comments I encountered.
I am convinced that either they do not know how to use it or anti-Huawei interests are hidden behind them.
I can't discuss battery endurance in detail because it depends on how you use the phone, but what I can tell you is that compared to how long it lasted when the phone was new, now it lasts about the same, just an hour or two less, but it still lasts pretty much all day.
Your comment is totally wrong in terms of how banking apps work.
Today, July 7, 2025, in the Android 15 "era", when I answer you all 3 banking apps I use; BCR, ING and Revolut work flawlessly.
I don't know how you thought they wouldn't work anymore...
You probably want to make those who have this phone sell it and buy one from the competing company that paid you to write that totally inept comment.
Please any one who can help me me my phone camera say is not connected
The phone is amazing, I like its resolution and refresh rate. 50x zoom is better when you compare it with 2019 phones.
Maaac, 23 Apr 2025Hi Markus,

I upgraded the phone, i had no choice, some apps stopped working.
So, i am on Android 10 now (10.0.0.178 / EMUI 10.0). In the first week the battery was a little worse (was draining a little faster), now it seems ok, it is like before, when i had Android 9. I don't know what is with this first week after a major update...... :/
The phone is ok, no damaged battery. The camera is taking a little longer to respond and take a photo (2-3 seconds more). Don't know if the quality was affected (did not have the time pe stay and make comparisons), but it seems ok overall, new menu and more buttons/options.
The update is fine. For now :)
PS for all the users: the phone is awesome if you want to buy it at this point, but it is stuck with Android 10 for life. Take note that all apps, especially from the banks, will stop to work on it soon, as now the last Android is 15, and 16 coming soon. So try to get a newer phone model.
Thank you again for the time!
Had mine for about a year and man alive, this phone was amazing. I mostly used it for emulating PC games and it did this splendidly. Sucks that I was dumb enough to break it's screen and with the outrageous repair costs, it was cheaper to buy another phone. However, I'll always cherish the days I had it. It's one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.
Hi all great minds,
has anybody here tried samsung akg usb c earphones with p30 pro? Is the akg mic compatible? Tia

I am also steel useing the P30 pro, I am on Android 10 (EMUI 12.0.0), battery life is great I finish my days with an average of around 30-35% remaining battery life, never had any problem, as far as I know the fingerprint reader is an hardware related problem and it's an cheap fix (around 30-35 euro), and for the camera I've done a lot of reading before doing the upgrade it is also an hardware related problem I believe it's related with the OIS that's why there is no focusing issues with the ultrawide sensor among the reported problems with the camera, replacing the camera module with an original one in official Huawei service is around 80-90 euro. I hope you find my answer helpful.
Gize, 13 Mar 2025Hi everyone! is it worth it in 2025? not good
I am using this phone from 2019. I am on Android 9 and the phone is epic. Awesome battery and camera, not a single problem in all these years, the phone runs great.
Now the problem, some apps stop to function with Android 9 and somehow i must upgrade to Android 10. But i've seen here there are some problems with the sw after update (bad/blur camera, fingerprint stop working, bad battery). Can someone conform these issues with Andoid 10? Thank you!
