I bought the phone early 2020, it used to have amazing battery, but after emui 11 update, it is draining too fast, now I need to recharge in the middle of the day.
What a loss, now I am thinking seriously to return back to Samsung.

Wardy9285, 15 Feb 2021What is harmony? It's Huawei's In-house Operating system. Due to the legacy of the P30 Pro, it will certainly get as many features as possible, such as chip optimizing for better performance, battery improvements due to iOS-like battery optimization. The phone will get better drastically, but it will also retain GMS certification, which will keep the phone appealing for us Westerners who are neck-deep in Google.

Superb phone after coming from the Huawei p20 Pro. Had the P30 Pro new edition ( because of GMS support. There is not much difference between the original model ( storage, more ram) but that's it! The phone works like a dream, superb battery life, great screen, superb camera system! Here's hoping that one day Huawei will once again be able to work with GMS once again. Just updated to Februarys security patch ( EMUI 11)

To give you a clue how good this phone actually is I got this phone the day it came out in the UK. My contract is ending on April 8th and have decided not to renew my contract and instead just be on pay as you go and top my phone up. Still works like new, really fast, brilliant battery. Good camera, good memory. Best phone I have ever had and will continue to use it until it won't turn on anymore.

Having this phone since it was born, the same performance from the day first to today although the phone memory is almost full with so many photos video editing apps. Battery long last, Camera Brilliant, Display crisp. I mean it's a mobile which has everything. Recently bought a Note 20 Ultra and start using and start comparing it with p30 pro, Note battery doesn't last long Fingerprint sensor is slow Camera is not good as P30 pro only the Edge is the Display. Samsung Display is next level. And I said NA I gave it to my wife and bought a Mate 40 Pro. Wow, Mate is the premium version of the P series. In the end, P30 Pro is still in my pocket as a 2nd phone. the best phone I ever used.

WOW, i had S8 before and the gap is huge for me, in screen size, performance, memory size, camera quality (not to mention you'll never take decent night pics with galaxy phones older than S10) and all the extras. There is no comparison... Right now you won't get better phone with these specs, ip65 watter resistant certyficate, screen size and quality (1080 x 2340 oled) and most important ToF camera (no fake grayscale or sonic but true laser technology like in Kinct) and all of it for that price!!

I bought this smartphone January 2021, after 5 years used Galaxy S7 (before S4).
Very happy this gadget camera is good, I don't think it's better of my old "Galaxy" but it's not bad.
And 5x optical zoom is perfect. Battery living about 12 hours at my hands. Updated Android 10 EMUI 11.

Have had this only 6 months, bought on sale 399e, but by this Best Phone ever had. Great camera, great battery and on everyday use very smooth.

Having this phone since the launch and still works amazing. My wife has iphone 12 and compare to it, this phone still rocks. The only thing iphone 12 has better, is the sound quality of their speakers, it's amazing. I think i'm gonna be using this phone for at least 1 more year, the only real difference between p30 pro and newer devices is the refresh rate. Since this was a flagship and it had the best cameras, there is no real reason to upgrade to any other smartphones that launched recently. Cameras still amazing, battery life still good after 2 years, never had any problems with it's software. This phone with huawei p9 plus and xiaomi mi mix 2 are the best phones i've ever had.
