Hi guys, I would finally like to order the p30 pro but before I do I would like to ask you ... is it still (today) the best smartphone for battery life and camera under 500 €?
TEtech, 09 Sep 2020if you want 5g, a smaller phone and decent battery, you might want to go with the p40 as you a... moreTY man.
I like p40 very much, but if i get this correct, for now you can download google apps via third parties, but can you upgrade emui to 11?
Leo4u, 10 Sep 2020Yes the P50 series will be big beast, but my worries is.., will it comes with GMS. Gms is fixable, don't worry.
But it probably will.
And also the mate 40 series is gonna be a good option too.
Pls is the P30 pro water resistant or can anyone recommend me a Water resistant Huawei phone .thanks .
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2020Got mine to 10.1 yesterday (July 9th) and boy do I love it even more. Was thinking about going... moreYes the P50 series will be big beast, but my worries is.., will it comes with GMS.
Maybe you purchased non original phone, that's not originally from Huawei. As I know, P30 Pro, still the best phone since 2019. I'm even thinking of buying one now even though it's almost 1yr and half launched. But when you check the specifications of it with some of the new release 2020 phones, you will see that the chipset of p30 pro still remain one of the best.
My only worries is how long will they continue to upgrade or update it with upcoming versions like Android 11,12 or Emui 11,12 respectively

Honorable mantions: honor 30/ 30 pro, iqoo 5 and the s10/p30 pro are also a nice choice.
i would recommend you to look these up.
Hi Guys...Im owner of Honor 10, and previously P20pro, and now Im buying new phone, and in my shorlist i have p30 pro and s10 plus. S10 would be go to 100% if it comes with better battery, but it has mediocre battery so i have to move to one size bigger phones, although, im not sure in their practicality...
So my question is, what is long term better investment... I read dozens of opinions concerning Huawei crisis, and none of them didnt mention what is expected in one or two years, when emui 12 comes out or smth like that.... Shall we have updates for google apps?
In that sense, with all that crazy stuff around Huawei, im thinking s10 plus is better investment, although i like p30pro more, because its more narrower, and because of that more practical (you can use it with one hand( and has a better battery life...
And second question is about 5g networks, i dont know how soon it will come to my country, but when that happens, in one or two years, my p30pro would be outdated for sure...
What you think about that topics? Thank you!
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2020Can I listen to a radio app on the P30 Pro on earphones? No. Therere is no fm radio on p30 pro.

In fact I think for example that you don't have a samsung phone if you can use it perfectly after 3 years without problems. (it is not a criticism of samsung but it is known that it has a very customized and heavy software)

TEtech, 04 Sep 20206gb is enough but it's actually easier from my experience to find an 8/128gb than 6/128gbThanks so much for the replies !!!
In my country (Italy) both are easy to find and the price difference is 50 €.
Even if I have 2GB of RAM less, will I still have a long-lasting phone for 2/3 years?
Keep in mind that I don't play with my phone and have "normal" use.
(sorry for my English)
germa, 03 Sep 2020Do you think the 6gb version is still enough to have a smooth phone for at least 3 years, if I... moreP30 Pro is a complete package with excellent battery life, excellent cameras, superb built quality and not to forget the essentials like call quality and fast internet browsing. I've the 8/256 GB version and it's blazing fast my friend has the 6 GB version and it's also great in performance. I watch web series on my P30 Pro for about 3 hours & the battery easily lasts for the day as I don't have to charge it again just single charge & you're good to go for the entire day. It's one of the best phones I've used in years, I'll stick to it for years to come.

And also the p30 pro has gms and considered one of the absolute best phones on 2019, and also if you buy newer phones you can still download Google apps.
So essentially don't go out there confusing consumers with wrong statements and especially don't just attack the company with no reason.
Do you think the 6gb version is still enough to have a smooth phone for at least 3 years, if I don't use my phone to play? The normal p30 has 6gb in fact ...... thanks
Sam, 03 Sep 2020Updates are pretty regular, last week I received the August security patch update.Oh wow that's pretty good. Do you usually get security patches for every 1, 3, or 5 etc months? How often regularly?
