Me, as a girl find this bit too big for my hands, my younger brother played fortnite on this thing about 2 hrs per day, and after it my P30 Pro would be too hot to hot to hold in my hand, my has has thermal camera and it shows burning area on my phone at around 75 Celsius and and water "boils" at 100 Celsius, and I bet I could fry an egg on it if my brother played any longer... he probs stops to play because the phone is too hot to handle... once he was using a rug to hold the phone while still playing... and putting it on a charger afterwards just makes things even worse, this phone is a fire hazard

I am really sorry that I had to write this review on this phone. Because it was literally my dream phone, and I worked too hard so I can afford it while still saving money for college. I was literally carrying people's drinks while thinking about this phone.
I had to sell this phone and I bought S10e with money I scarmbled by doing so.
Here are problems I had:
I wouldn't get any notifications for hours and I still don't know why, my brother and my friends all tried to figure it out too but they couldn't.
My WiFi would break a lot, while it worked fine on my old iPhone and brother's Samsung.
My phone internet (not WiFi but internet I pay for) also got really bad as soon as I started to use this phone, I tried my iPhone again and it's still doing great there - so that is your fault Huawei :(
Pics were awesome, but selfies are not really special.
This cheaper S10 version has no zoom but I can live without it, it actually makes better selfies (yay) and notifications are never late and signal and WiFi are good. Only bad side is worse battery but it is so much cheaper that I won't complain. I think it looks cute because it's so small and I can type with one hand but I sometimes miss big screen.

I like p 30 pro very much every thing camara display every thing . But my bad luck it is so expensive for me .

compare to my 3years old s7 dege has the better display,,,p30 pro has better low light camera compare to s10 plus,,but its display and day dime photos doesn't match to other rivals in this price range,,,even p30 pros price is higher,,,,,

Most Samsung or Apple users I know all have colorblindness to a certain degree or they cannot tell colors in bright saturation well.
Perhaps u need to look into this.

And I am honestly deepy dissapointed by it's video performance like some people already said. Photography is most likley the best on the market currently, but video performance is simply bad.
Another issue for me is the fact that my P30 Pro won't recognize some of my bluetooth devices or connect to them. While my old phone and my mom's phone have no problems with it.

I'm glad that you're satisfied with it, but I am not.
This phone does have many good sides, but at this price there shouldn't be so many compromises. That is how I feel as a consumer...

Ugly... morei find my p30 pro very satifying and its one of the best phone i owned in terms of performance specially on its camera features... i guess some bashers may not appreciate it because they dont have it and cant even afford it... just buy phones within your budget ok and be satisfied... for me i love my p30 pro...nice job HUAWEI!!!!

This is last Huawei I ever bought.
Switching to Samsung because Apple is a rip-off...
Their keyboard is still bad so I have to install another one, bloatware isn't such an issue here, but colour accuracy either of camera or screen is just bad.
Also the video, my sister's S9 still makes better video.
I'd forgive all this but the phone gets super hot on charger (so hot that I cannot put my hand on it). Their customer service says that it's completley normal.
And last but not least, I bought a flagship and it lags. I also had to restart it few times by now because Facebook messenger icons would get stuck or unresponsive when I try to close them...

I have had previous Huawei devices and never had issues with the service in my country. Also I do believe these phone companies give better service depending on the devices you own.

I work for a phoneshop (for a big mobile provider in the UK) - this brand is painful. Its got some blind allegiance similar to Apple - for some reason people are attracted by it because they see them as the underdog and are blinded by the specs on paper (Apple banks on image, not specs).
I can't explain how many people have issues with these phones. Myself included (I owned the P20 Pro for 3-4 months). There are more glitches in Huawei high end devices (P30 Pro, Mate 20 Pro, P20 Pro, etc) than there were glitches in low end and mid range Samsung circa 2013.
No other provider has more people coming back with issues. And for some odd reason, just like with Apple, they don't want to admit that there is something at fault with this company's devices - it's always our fault (the network provider) or Trump's or whoever, but not dear Huawei.
I hope they get their stuff together.
