Is it you Pro, 14 Jul 2019Just so weird, the 19.5:9 photo have two side black bar show on my phone with display16:9 rati... more19.5:9 is not, 18:9 still got its standard (Youtube). The additional 1.5 on P30 Pro is notches & curve area. U should know how to differentiate it.
By the way from what source u got the 19.5:9 photos? All Huawei phones camera cant capture that ratio images, its either 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 18:9 & 21:9 (video).

After I factory reset my HUAWEI phone with EMUI 8.2, I cannot change the notification sound for message (SMS) and Gmail anymore.

18:9 - Flat screen
18.5:9 - With notch
19.5:9 - Notch with curve screen
Technically, when the 18.5:9 & 19.5:9 hide notches in settings, it became true 18:9 screen ratio. Almost half videos in Youtube using 18:9, so it still got its purpose. 21:9 mostly for cinematic movies. When u watch 18:9 & 16:9 video/photo content in it, huge black bars persist as well. So whats the difference?
Besides, people dont care so much about it, just look at the sales.

So my dad just got P30 Pro so I've let him be the test subject of the (in)famous huawei phone. I've played it for a few minutes looks fine now is for the daily use. Now I'm wondering if there is still a notification problem or was it fixed? The one about the notification not pushing until you open the app. Also hoping to know anymore problems that Emui would provide since I need to ensure it is functioning well for him to use as a business phone lest it affect his job. Thanks.

19.5:9 display ratio isn't an industrial standard, if preview the 19.5:9 photo on the 16:9 or 21:9 display unit it has black bar.

The only thing US government mentioned that any American company want to deal with Huawei should have a trade license that’s all bout it no mentioned of any banned lift from google side.

After the update yesterday, July 11, 2019, to 9.1.0.177 my P30 Pro suddenly won’t charge anymore and when connected to my PC, it can not be recognized. Is there a problem with the charging, battery, or with the USB? How to fix this? Thanks.
