More and more companies, associations and alliances are going to ban HUAWEI.
The latest news is HUAWEI loss its membership in Wi-Fi Alliance and is barred from SD Association.
If the situation goes on like that for a long time, HUAWEI definitely will die soon.

Still happy with my p30 pro despite the ban and the possibility that Huawei will not be sold in my country soon. Just makes me happier knowing I might have the last Android huawei device made lol. Makes the phone limited edition years from now.

glad to hear Huawei is still Android (Google). although they don't have to create a new system based on Android. so people can install the existing apk
No need to worry regarding getting updates from google...the only one affected is the future phones of this company.
so from P30 pro and below you will still get updates from GOOGLE
Arjun, 24 May 2019I'm using P30 pro right now, will I still be able to receive all the google apps updates like ... moreNot sure yet. I hope Huawei is working to make sure that we (Huawei users) will still get updates after the 90 days. My advice, don't be like them people who go and sell their Huawei's (including brand new phones) at cheap! Not yet.. just wait and see first. Even if you couldn't get Google updates and such, it doesn't deny the fact that P30 pro is a mobile photography beast and you still can use it for daily operation. P/S: I think that if Huawei really can't get Google updates, someone WILL somehow find a way to cheat the updates, maybe by changing the phone attributes (brand, name, model etc.).
I'm using P30 pro right now, will I still be able to receive all the google apps updates like gmail, youtube in playstore and other security patches after the 90 days ban.

Khuan, 22 May 2019Better don't buy all those Chinese phones since nobody knows what will happen next. To pla... moreYeah no, it's safer to go with a OnePlus phone than a Samsung phone. OnePlus phones have never had any problems or controversies. I think there might've been a time where they got in trouble for enabling a performance mode in Antutu, (even though it gets enabled in anything that requires a lot of performance, so it should be used in benchmarks) but that's it.
Anonymous, 23 May 2019Everyone know that, Trump need to clamp down China before it become the Biggest economy power ... moreAh yes, stop innovation just so the US can be #1. That's not a good thing m8.
Rohitmanmade, 22 May 2019Thats for only 90days after that boom finish for all users new & existingThat is NOT the case at all, stop spreading lies. Phones currently available will carry on as they are, they might not get the next version of Android, that is all. I'm still running a Nexus 9 table, Android 7 and no security updates. The apps all update regularly and it works just fine.
No one with a current Huawei phone needs to panic; the phone will work fine, so will the app store and all the updates. Both parties have confirmed this is the case. I've no doubt both parties are working on a solution too, this is not good for Google either, they want their OS on the best selling phones, and Huawei is a major player.
Going forward, owners might not get Android Q, but reading the review on this site, so what? It seems to offer very little. Losing the Google play store is the only concern I have, but I don't expect it to come to that. It's in no ones interest for that to happen.
Enjoy your Huawei phone and relax. We won't have any news for a little while yet.
Andrew, 20 May 2019If only huawei is not a thief. Too dangerous to trust your information on the device. Are you high? The Nokia phones actually sent European user data to China, the global Huawei devices never did such crimes! O3O
vhutshilo vincent, 23 May 2019- The main cause for Trumps administration to take this step is Huawei is growing too big too... moreEveryone know that, Trump need to clamp down China before it become the Biggest economy power in 2024, If China take control of 5G technology, US will be the next USSR.
