P30 Pro is 2340 x 1080 pixels (2K)
What else do you need?
If 1080p is enough, why did Huawei put a 1440p display on the Mate 20 Pro?
By "objectively" I just meant that I am trying not to hate on Huawei.

In my opinion there is absolutely no reason to go from a 3K resolution device like the Mate 20 Pro to a 2K resolution device that the P30 Pro is.
Not to mention that the 2 devices are pretty similar and some people are probably rightly so saying the Mate 20 Pro is better
overhyped phone.. low resolution, no 3,5mm jack... lol what is the pro modes of this phone?

Better to have lower resolution for longer battery endurance.

It is basically a 2K resolution while in comparison Sony Xperia 1 got a 4K resolution. Not to forget that P30 Pro is most likely using PenTile matrix, so you even get less subpixels than usual. Anonymous, 08 Apr 2019But wait there's more... The screen resolution is only 1080 x 2340 pixels.yeah its quite a bummer. but i can live with it, had the chance to test the this p30 pro and the screen is really good anyways.
Nice phone for sure, but I'm surprised it only have space for 256 extra memory like the vanilla version, but the light version can handle a 512 card... Strange one :-O
realitychecker, 08 Apr 2019with huawei now offering trade-in here in our country, im gonna admit, im quite tempted. What tempting offer here in my region are the freebies such as smart watch and wireless charging pad. Where the smart watch freebie is not yet released in the market.
I'm quite tempted.

Even after one or two years heavy usage, HUAWEI / HONOR phones still can stay fast and smooth.
That's the different between HUAWEI and SAMSUNG.
guys..i own the p30 pro and my friend has mate 20 pro..i can tell you now p30 pro is an insanely better phone......no regrets..nothin
Anybody can help with this:
- is the speakers are stereo speakers? cause it under the display glass.
- is the front and back glass is gorilla 6 like S10+ or it just gorilla 5?

This studio cannot compare everything.
Still a basic A/B comp shows the p30 pro is great in low light not for everything.
The p30pro is a great phone but not good enough IMO to justify an upgrade for me
