I have a Huawei P40 Lite device. I'm pleased by this phone. The price of this phone was 1100 RON (about 240 €) in November 2020. It is a good phone

Great phone, got it for 150€, the camera is really good, not flagship level,but definitely upper midrange level.The processor is pretty powerful,great for gaming if you're into it,it has plenty of ram and memory for most people, charging is 40w, very fast,not many phones offer that at this price point.The display is solid all-round,good brightness level,nice to look at, although its not Gorilla glass,the screen size is adequate,it has a big display, while still being a compact phone.I think this phone outperforms most budget phones in every department.Now the app situation is not as bad as you would think,you can get most of your apps on APKpure, like YouTube (Vanced), What's app, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,Telegram too.Google maps run fine without an account of course,and Gboard and Translator work too.All email accounts can be added in Huawei mail app, Huawei health is really good and also all the basic tools.Transfering the data from old phone is an easy process.If you can make a few small compromises,the phone is really worth it.

The right side is cracked so muvh i can bearally see. Don't buy Huawei's thay are the cheapest smartphones i have ever touched. When i touched this phone i almost puked of the cheap feeling

Stay away at all costs. I also thought, well, who needs Google services? I'd be better off without it. WRONG. Almost every single useful app needs not only Android, but Google Play services as well. I cannot return mine, so I'm selling it to the next sucker.

I just bought Huawei P40 Lite phone and return it on the same day as there is no Google so no life. We cant's install any apps from Google Play Store. YouTube requires to open from browser which is not easy to open. I will buy Huawei P30 Lite phone instead which comes with Google and its application.
Be careful before you buy Huawei P40 Lite phone. It is problematic.

Because I have one and right after turn ir ON for the first time ir made an update of 1,27Gb.
The phone has nothing about what you are sharing.
But there are issues, there are no LED notification, a memória card it os so expensive and it do not let Chrome to shincronize with my favorits.

As far as performance, Kirin 810 is like Snapdragon 845, so pretty capable

If you're looking for a great camera - you don't need to look any further. The quality of photos is equal to those taken by P30 Pro and, at a price of around 250eur (for used but undamaged phones) I'd rather buy a second hand P30 than a new P40 to be honest.

I'm Interested in getting this phone but there are a few things that concern me. First of all, Google. I don't mind ditching GMS because I know I can always side load it but if I do sideload GMS, are there any restrictions that will prevent it's long term use? Secondly, I like to game on my phone a lot, I mostly play Call Of Duty: Mobile and I was wondering about the performance. What sort of framerates can I get and at what graphics settings? Also, do you get directional audio when playing games with headphones, like can you hear the direction of footsteps and gunfire? Thanks for your help :)

This Phone Huawei P40 lite haven't let me down. I Love it because of The bigger screen 6,4". I adore it for The charging speed 40W. The upper hand for both The quality of The screen and that it still have The 3,5 mm port. The issue of not having Google apps preinstalled and coming with Google Play Are easily resolved with The Great alternative called ApkPure. Did I mention The battery size? Yes it keep me going for 2 days so thumbs up Huawei, keep going!

P40 lite is a good phone. Far better than Samsung that gives you endless problems such as software/hardware, charging block, overheating etc...
I had almost every model from the Huawei p6 and I have not once been disappointed in Huawei.
