Why do many of these Huawei phones show the time as 08:08 in the ads etc.? Are they paying homage to the good old Nokia 808?

Happy with P40 Pro, gonna buy this to replace. Actually, it is not hard to live without GMS. Used to it for months, not that hard to adjust depending on apps u use.

And I dont care.We don't care your preference because for me, I don't use it as my home stereo, gmail account can easily be logged in Huawei mail, you tube can be played with its browser no nothing is absent still it is perfect.

Serghey, 27 May 2020I am talking about The app youtube, and can i log in with my google account? Unfortunately, no; The Youtube app will never run, unless you have GMS-sideloaded, ready to support it. In the meantime, you'll need to use the browser to watch youtube.

This is top of the range in the p40 series. It should be bigger, in the range of 6.7 to 7" for it to stand toe to toe with Samsung ultra, incoming note 20 n iphone 12. A miscalculated move by huawei.

Serghey, 27 May 2020I am talking about The app youtube, and can i log in with my google account? without google services the youtube app will not work, not yet at least,
but like i said you can use browser for this, and depending on setting you can use features that the app does not allow, like playing youtube videos/music in the background,
for what you have to pay in order to make it work on the youtube app
