In settings when you take digital wellbeing at down of the screen there is a big option button to disable digital wellbeing and same for assistant. Just open your eyes before commenting.

A POS phone. I got one for 18th birthday and it has a lot of bloatware and spyware that is unremovable, screen is too big, a ugly camera hole and no ability to flash custom ROMs.
You can't remove Digital Wellbeing and HUAWEI Assistant feature. Not everyone is addicted to scrolling kilometers of social media every day and doesn't want to be spied on by Huawei.
Avoid Huawei phones if you can. It's nothing more than a cheap attempt to copy an iPhone, which I hate

Just bought my p40 pro silver and cant express my happiness. the only hic for now is the nano memory card which i need to buy and which is not that cheap. secondly, the screen is not as vivid/bright as samsung phone but else, WAOW. all apps am downloading from petal serach works flawlessly.

Otherwise its like different country different situation.I have nova 7i. I dont personally installed play store every app works perfectly for me. But in my country many banking apps is already there in app gallery that's why i had no problem. But its different for different countries. Just list all your apps that you use and check weather its available in app gallery. There is huawei app gallery website check in that. As of now there are no big apps like Facebook, insta and all stuff but there other app called petal search helped me with every app that i want. So there was no use of play store for me personally. But this is my case so definitely ask to someone in your country. And feel free to ask if you have any problem.

To be honest, the phone looks great, the camera is impressive, the battery not as good as p30 pro's one, but when it comes to apps it's just a waste of money. Too many apps won't work without Google Play services.
If I want to check my bank account, I have to go to the browser and so on...
The AppGallery is just useless... I couldn't find thr majority of the apps I use.

Does fast charging work with screen on?
According to Wikipedia, some Samsung phones (S6, S7, S8) disable fast charging during screen-on! Very frustrating.

., 20 Jul 2020Source on better scratch resistance?I personally had a p30 pro a year ago and had no screen protection. The phone did not have the slightest scratch, while other devices with gorilla glass were destroyed by scratches.
