The P8 is a good device, very fast and the screen and camera quality is good too. I have recently upgraded myself (from a BB Z30) and my wife with her S4. The only reason i upgraded was due to fact that the Z30 does not support Android apps, otherwise its a really excellent phone, and because out contracts expired two months ago. I did some research on the battery life and the reviews seemed great, but i wonder where they get the stats from. I am terribly disappointed in the battery life of the P8. the longest this phone battery will last is 8 hours (if you are lucky), even when idle. Some people switch of the mobile data and wifi to save battery life but what is the sense of doing this. The P8 is not an entry level device and you should have at least a day without charging. We leave our phones all night on charge and by the time we arrive home at five the next day, the device is on reserve battery and do not even dare doing any browsing at that time and it will shut down. Otherwise, nice look and feel and i wish that the SA version was dual sim compatible as the P8 Lite.

P8 better than Samsung A5 and Apple iPhone 6. Metal body and looking so beautiful .battery performance overall ok. Go for it.

"Smart assistance",
"Voice Control"
and than turn On "Voice wakeup'

Guys, do you have issues with the battery ? I did change it but still is going low too quick. I did read some reviews and it says that it's a minus for this phone, but still, do you have any issues ?

MHD-Medany, 03 Aug 2016it's perfect performance , awesome GPU , high material quality . I totally agree with mb, this is the worst phone I have ever used. The calls cut out with a lot of interference after around 2-3 minutes and I have to ring back to people and apologise. I sent it to Huawei and they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with the phone. I am now waiting to hear back from Huawei, as I do not want this phone, it is still after warrantee. I would never recommend a Huawei phone to anyone.

i hear about p8 lite that user cannot insert memory card untill you use double sim slot ....is it right ?
