about App install location check this out :
the funny thing is when you move an app to SD it gets bigger, unless android team gives the devs the option to install the app directly into SD Card i mean the whole app, we will run into the loop of
1 - install >> move to SD.
when update comes through google play.
2 - re-install into phone memory >> move to SD.
we will be stuck in the second part for a long time very long time as long as the app installed or google fix it.

Bobbafett, 20 Dec 2015Hey. You could google "pm set install location". You have to download adb shell, then go into ... moreThanks, I did it on my previous G7, it is working, the only thing is that some of the apps misbehave after that. The bigger problem for me with P8 lite is that once moved to SD, after an update the app is installed again in Internal, then I have to move it after every update. It is annoying.

I think only 4 cores are running no matter what you do. It is a fault by design by my opinion.
My p8 lite is not connecting to WiFi no matter where I go...checked tru all settings and still can't get this resolved. Only about twice I got on to my home WiFi but I had to stand directly over it and even then I only got a fair signal strength....please help

It's not a big pro... morei think and i may be wrong on this moving an app to the SD card is done partially, not all of the files related to the app is actually being moved but some of it. yep the devs done some of the games this way it is better this way. i read about the cores earlier they seems to be in a sleep mode, 4 are working the other 4 are in a sleep mode and some benchmark app does not show them too or shows them without activity, don't remember that clearly.
i have question about asphalt 8 didn't try it yet, is there any noticeable lags?

You have to download adb shell, then go into it and type a simple command on your PC/laptop with the phone plugged in. It should force nearly everything to install/be moved to sd.
Can someone please explain me steps how to switch off mobile data in this device?
AnonD-396766, 20 Dec 2015unfortunately i didn't found any way to do so, google won't allow users to install apps direct... moreI don't want to root the phone, 'cause it will break the warranty, I guess. It's not a big problem to move after install, the bigger problem is that I have to move once again after an update. An update to the app moves it again in Internal storage. :D Today I have installed Asphalt 8, it runs very well despite the listed poor Mali 450 performance. The game itself is 70 MB, and then the other 1.6 GB was downloaded to the SD which was great, may be it's the game itself that has this settings. By the way no matter what you do, only 4 cores are running. :D Even if you stress the phone with some benchmark. Pity. Except for some minor issues I am satisfied with this phone so far. :)
