I used this phone for an hour because my friend was having difficulties with the battery life (1 day in light usage / idle!).
I saw a post to choose the 3G GSM only option for a better battery life.
But that just reduces the speed from HSPA+ (40mbit) to only 3G (3mbit / still fast enough).
But then again this is only a partial solution.
Then again someone posted that an antivirus app should be disabled.
I have found no traces of an antivirus app on that phone.
I saw in the battery stats that the graph goes down very very quickly! That's just bad!
If someone would be a dear and install BetterBatteryStats from XDA that would be awesome! That way we can be 100% sure what is causing this dreadfull battery consumption.
ROOT might be required, just install app and check!
Report back on the results so that others can benefit from your findings!

I bought it yesterday, it's brilliant phone! I expected battery life to be bad because I read few negatives comments about it, but so far it was more then good. I deffo recommend it!

Huawei P8 Lite or Samsung Galaxy E5saad bro.. i think huawei P8 lite would be a better choice as it has latest android version, more ram, memory and camera etc... So i think Huawei P8 lite is a better choice if brand doesn't matter for u :)

Amiraa, 27 Jul 2015I can use 2 sim and sd card at same time or i can only use 1 sim and sd card ? No you can't use 2 sim card and SD card simultaneously. either 1 sim and 1SD or 2 Sim.

The battery really sucks.. when I'm using apps like Google, facebook, twitter etc. it drains fast. but without using them it works for 1.5 day. But in other hands everything works perfectly !
