NikiDroid, 05 Nov 2016Better go to other brand. The Huawei P8 lite has several defective problem that people risk to... moreIt's a great phone despite negative comments I have the phone six months now and I have no problems. When I bought the phone it was using android 5.0 and I easily rooted the phone using kingroot, didn't even unlocked bootloader however I've recently upgraded to 6.0 marshmallow and I've lost the root access with the update. Now I'm having difficulty rooting again, besides that I've realized otg doesn't work, but it's possible after gaining root access.
I got it when it was released and i am more then happy i put my hotspot on to my computer with the network vodacom and get the speed of 32mb/s download speed since i updated/upgraded my Huawei P8Lite to android 6
jopomon, 19 Oct 2016has anyone troubles with root this by kingroot? (or trying to unroot this?)I tried to root the device for many times bt I couldn't. Does this device support otg cable
Yho, i love this phone and i wanted to buy one now am so so...... dnt knw
No much I could tell about Huawei P8lite again, just update the status. Yesterday teh GPS was also malfunction, opened Google Maps, set pin circle the location at time, it false, GPS not working. So, I would not recommend any Huawei smartphone again.
Anonymous, 09 Nov 2016How to use usb with p8 lite? In features there is that this phone support usb but i connect us... moreMy friend said that, actually, Huawei P8lite can do OTG by seeing the specs but Huawei made it disable, so users can't use it.
Toqeet, 05 Nov 2016My p8 lite not connected with otg...it is a big problemHow to use usb with p8 lite? In features there is that this phone support usb but i connect usb via otg but not working
This phone is AMAZINGLY good. It has been a long time since I was so impressed by a phone. It's fast, reliable, easy to use and tough. It charges quickly....VERY quickly in fact, the batter lasts MUCH longer than any other handset I have had with a similar sized screen. Buy this phone - you will NOT regret it.
Jodylyn , 07 Nov 2016When will I be able to get a the phone Are you planning to buy P8lite? Reconsider again, this phone has defect problem that may not all users get. But once your phone face the problem, the solution is only to take to Huawei Service Center that cost you much a half of new Huawei P8lite price if your phone diagnosed had been unlocked.
After 3 months I use Huawei P8lite, here are my comments and experiences:
+ Good design, feels like premium, the box is also good
+ Upgradeable to Android Marshmallow, support double tap to wake up
+ Dual standby SIM card, the first SIM only supports 4G LTE
+ Performance is good (with notes: no many apps running in background)
- Battery capacity is not good, can't last long
- Charging time is to long. I notice today, start charging on 13:09 (21%), on 21:58 is still 87%. Insane, 13:00 to 21:00 has exceed more than 8 hours not 100%
- Has defect problem WiFi and Bluetooth not function. Maybe not all users, but many users experienced this malfunction syndrome. Can't be fixed by installing firmware, flashing, factory reset, wipe partition in recovery mode. The only is go to Huawei Service Center. My case was go to Huawei Service Center and my phone diagnosed that the phone was unlocked, consequently couldn't claim warranty. If I persist to make my phone got service, the cost was insane too, a half of new P8lite price for change WiFi IC and motherboard
vicalej, 07 Nov 2016Don't buy it... I bought one and after less than a year the Wifi, Bluethooth, GPS and radio st... moreYes, my phone was also stop working connect to WiFi and Bluetooth. Defect several products.
So far so good. I'm pleasantly surprised with the phone. Considering that is cheap it gives a lot for it's price. Cameras is very good with a lot of options, gives a good pictures in daylight as it gives in night time. I'm surprised with camera quality. It have a very good build design, feels premium and expensive, speaker is loud and clear... Mine runs on Android Marshmallow and its so smooth, almost like stock aos, no lags at all. So far I don't have any problems, runs the best for it's price.
Don't buy it... I bought one and after less than a year the Wifi, Bluethooth, GPS and radio stopped working. They just simply greyed out and don't turn on. I couldn't even get technical assistance from Huawei because this model never came to my country. Don't waste your money on Huawei.
