I bought the phone based on the specification. What a hopeless phone. Battery is dead within 2 hours of use. My old Nokia and Samsung phones last more than a day.

Hey everybody, I wanted to say I have a p8 lite that functions pretty good and for me is very fast with the only problem being the battery life.
Everybody is saying everything about wi-fi connection problem and I can tell you I haven't faced that problem yet, and the phone is maybe 3 weeks old.
At first phone didn't update to marshmallow and when I went to updater it said there were no updates but a week later it just showed up on its own.
Phone is very good for me, and I like it.
Now don't take my opinion for granted I am just saying for me it is good, now if you don't want to buy it......Don't buy it (:
But it's very good phone for price I paid .
I hope this helped someone.

I'm searching for a new smartphone and I was comparing Huawei P8 Lite vs Motorola Mo... morehey bro never ever buy huawei p8 lite because it has wifi problem , i also have huawei p8 lite when i connected it to wifi it shows wifi access denied , only customer care can fix it which costs lots of money if your phone is not in warrnaty , if you don't trust me you can search it on google simply by typing "wifi access denied" this problem is only in huawei p8 lite and you can also check the user reviews and this isn't software issue it's the problem of motherboard and this phone also have overheating and lagging issue , so bro moto g4 is better very much better because this phone doesn't have any of those issues

This phone is average at best. Said to be an attempt to compete with the top makers, it under achieves greatly. It can do many things similarly to more wellknown brands like Apple and Samsung, but it overheats rediculously easily and the battery life doesn't last even half f what promised if you have a few apps running on background. Also, if you leave anywhere where the temperature might go below -5ºC (23ºF) because this phone is useless in cold weather. The power might be at 50% or more when the phone suddenly shuts down and won't charge even with an external battery.
Of course being a Huawei phone, it's cheaper than the top selling names, buy you had better be prepared to pay for that price difference in the usability. As I stated before, the battery is the worst part of the phone, and I am not a fan of the idea of not getting my hands on it when I like, because the back doesn't come off without extreme violence.
To me, this phone is just a spare phone to use when my better phone breaks and I don't have money to get a new one yet. Definitely nothing more.
