Android smartphone that have double tap to wake in default feature is more attractive to me than none.

3 months using this phone with no problems, so smooth especially after the update to 6.0, one thing i didn't like about this phone is the battery

P8 obviously out performs the P7, if you meant the P8lite (which I think you did) I would recommend the P8lite as well.
Reasons being it runs 6.0 (P7 is stuck on 5.X) and runs EMUI 4.0 instead of 3.X.
Bigger battery, more efficient processor and while plastic on the back it feels more secure in the hand than the P7. Where the P7 wins is the screen being 1080P instead of 720P for the P8lite, still it helps with performance overall.
