Elo, 07 Aug 2016Search for HiCare in your phone , open it , after that the update should appear .OTA update notification was not available for me....I had to manually upgrade it...how did you receive notification for OTA upgrade??...and does it depend on the country you're in??

I updated my P8lite 2 days ago. I used HiSuite in PC running Windows XP. The firmware I used was ALE-L21 Asia Pasific downloaded from http://consumer.huawei.com/sg/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=84387
P8lite in Android 6.0 ALE-L21C636B540 works very good. Notification, Twitter, WhatsApp, BBM, Facebook, work fine. When the phone is being charged, it will sound once. When it is being charged, if there is new incoming notifications, the LED notification will keep blinking on and off. Previously in Lollipop B170, no act like this. So far, the P8lite Marshmallow works very good and I like it.

Hi, i baught my Huawei P8 Lite about 4 months ago. Changed from my samsung S4 to this phone. Its by far the worst phone regarding Data usage? all 3 of my friends have the same phone as i do and have the same problem. I have restricted back-round data and all sorts. I baught 1GB on Saturday morning and this morning i have 188MB left. i haven't opened any apps but whatsapp. PLEASE HELP - its so expensive. How can i make the data usage less?

P8 lite is a very good and reliable mobile phone in terms of price, durability, Camera quality, Guest mode, Battery time (not on 3G/4G), Signal strength etc. The only problem with the handset is that its not Full HD means picture resolution is not good.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2016Samsung j5 or huvawei p8 lite??? I m facing the same situation n need quick advice in one hour..Galaxy J5 is only has 1,5 GB. The P8 lite ALE-L21 comes with 2 GB. I would recommended P8 lite ALE-L21, beside 2 GB RAM, it has double tap to wake feature. Samsung Galaxies never use that feature in default.

The phone is crab. It is so bad that my 8 year old son refuses to give me his iPhone 4s in its exchange. 1st the battery does not last as long as they claim. I use it as a second phone but it last 1/2 as long as my iPhone 6s last. I would be lucky if it lasts for 1 day. and this is with it being in my bag and not in use. When i use I get max 12hours. It charges for over 3 hours most times. It cannot run CSR racing II. No Gyro sensors ... Wait no sensors at all. The only thing lovely about the phone phone is the shake thingy to change the wall papers and the price. But you are probably better of buying an entry level samsung than this phone. If you need a phone to read emails, sms and whatsapp + calls. Then it is brilliant. But please please please stop comparing it with main streams.The 13MP camera is not even as good as it claims to be.
