Great phone with one flaw - MMS.
MMS fails to retrieve messages, and when a message is stuck the data connection also goes offline. Have also had problems with WiFi failing to connect but working OK after a reboot. Very frustrating, I have returned it under warranty after only 2 months.
Expecting the problem to be fixed.

Then last week (august) cannot connect to W... moreIf you have problem with this phone about can't connect to wifi..just go to the huawei service center because I think it's a software problem they will give you a new phone right away...I'm having the same problem before after they change the phone there is no wifi problem with this new phone at all...and this new phone work absolutely fine...

Hi there, I would like to find out from other P8 lite users, when I receive a whats-app message I do not get a "tone" notification. All notifications is on "on". I know it is settings, just not sure what setting.

For those whose having wifi problems, try to restart your wifi router and make sure you downloaded the "huawei hilink" app. Hope it helps.

Then last week (august) cannot connect to W... moreMy Huawei P8 lite (ALE-L21) till now works fine (build number L21C636B170 Indonesia region), no complaint about WiFi and no complaint about keyboard freeze. This build number is latest firmware update in Indonesia region and this is very good compared previous firmware version. For ton of issues/complaints in social media, internet, all smartphones have pros and cons and have issues. Before I use Huawei P8 lite I use Meizu M2 note second, there was issue too with Flyme 5 (it would stuck for the first user Flyme account if second user updated from Flyme 4.5.4.2i to 5.6.1.0G, and Zheng Meizu couldn't help me unlock or delete first user Flyme account and the most weird, he said the Flyme email first user didn't match with his system. In fact, the Flyme 4.5.4.2i could unlock the first Flyme account user and matched with the system, but in 5.1.6.0G, no). Before I used Meizu M2 note, I used iPhone 5S, before I used iPhone 5S, I used Asus Padfone S, I also encountered problem. It was randomly restart if I use firmware Lollipop WW 37, WW 41, WW 43. Before I use Asus Padfone S, I used Xiaomi Redmi 2, it also faced my complaint too, even worse. Xiaomi Redmi 2 lag, open Chrome browsing frequently appeared "not responding, close it. Yes or no". Open camera and closed, frequently "just wait a sec" (loading before before back to normal) and lag all things when it was in charging.
Many complaints, but by the way, my current phone Huawei P8 lite so far is good. Did I face problem with P8 lite? Yes I did, in firmware build number CB150. The problem were typing 2 characters (double typing) and virtual keyboard that sometimes close itself (act like I press back button). In firmware CB170, those double typing and close itself virtual keyboard, were fixed.
For lag, all Android are almost never face no lag. My Huawei P8 lite also sometimes little need time when move from one app to another app. It is normal, 2 GB RAM can't do much things. For no lag (maybe very very less lag) I ever used, was iPhone 5S. This iPhone 5S was very satisfy me much. No lag moving from one app to another app and to another app an etc. But also, iPhone 5S has cons. iPhone won't allow user download for free mp3 files using Safari, UC Browser or other browser. iPhone won't allow user set ringtone be ringing tone downloaded from iTunes Store.

Bought this phone in april and i absolutely love it. Only downside is that you cant change battery by yourself. But great phone, 9/10

I bought a p8 lite dual SIM phone in April, great! Then last week (august) cannot connect to WiFi and keyboard keeps freezing, tried most of the tips except factory reset, thousands of threads/complaints/forums on this issue all over the world, contacted huawei waiting for solution. Frustrating

Best fone even not expensive....Good performance.....I'm really satisfied huawei p8 lite...the camera its very good...I recomended this fone to my friends and family.....

I got the phone out of pocket and put in a ba... moreMaybe you should have bought a Sony if you wanted a phone that ain't got problems with water hey. Anyway sorry about your phone. And you should have removed the batter after getting splashed over by water. That would have saved your battery. At least I think. That's what I do with my phones in cases like that cos you get your terminals frying everything in the phone cos water conducts electricity.

I have this phone for about six months now and all I can say is its a good phone. No issues until now. I drop it four times and its still functioning at top condition. Im not endorsing this phone or whatsoever. Im just glad that I bought this phone.
On the first months, I also encountered some issues you guys are saying like wi-fi or data not working and sometimes hanging. But based on my experience with this unit. For the wi-fi or data problems, I think the phone just needs some break-in runs. Try to close the data and turn it on again and it will again run fine. For the hanging issues. Again based on my experience, I think sometimes its the apps that you install that are making the problems or there are too many apps that are simultaneously running.
Well thats it, If I will rate it from 1-10, 1 being worst and 10 being excellent. I say I will rate it 8. Bye..:)
