I have this phone P8 lite dual and i like it. Ok Battery life can be better..but you can't have it all. I will try to update my phone to Android 6.0. I find Guideline in this software upgrade
"Huawei P8 Lite Firmware (ALE-L21, Andriod 6.0, EMUI 4.0, C432B564, CEE&Nordic European, Channel-Others, Dual)" at huawei support site (for Europe) and Versions can be upgraded are: ALE-L21C432B560, ALE-L21C432B550, ALE-L21C432B524, ALE-L21C432B204, ALE-L21C432B200, ALE-L21C432B194, ALE-L21C432B170, ALE-L21C432B010. Guideline explains how can you update your phone..so read and do carefully.. and hope it works.

Daggy, 02 Jan 2016I'll be buying huawei p8lite,,,can soneone tell which is better btwn p8lite and mate 8 and honor 7Dont buy p8 lite, it has gyroscope deactivated, because it was unstable, and huawei isnt doing anything about it, I really thought a company like that would be more proffesional than that, I am not gonna ever buy a huawei again

My P8Lite doesn't do that. P8lite it's one of the best phones. Maybe some software that you've installed that does that mess with the camera. If you not shure use the warranty.

its a good phone performance wise, but it lakes some necessary options, such as no volume control for notification's alert. Seriously!! you have to manually select the low beep tune before attending a meeting, otherwise its default volume level which is level 5 for notifications will f*** you in-front of audience :(. samsung and other brands provide a separate notification volume controller.
Is it right or i am a noob? like there is an option for that but its tricky and i couldn't find it? need your opinions please.

- Setting>Advanced Settings>Battery manager>Protected Apps>turn off ALL
- Setting>Advanced Settings>Battery manager>Settings icon on Right top Corner>Power intensive Prompt > turn on
- Setting>Advanced Settings>Battery manager>Settings icon on Right top Corner>Close excessively power-intensive apps > turn on
- Settings>Apps>Advanced(Setting icon on left bottom corner)>Ignore Battery Optimizations>Check "Don't allow" (select each app and check "Don't Allow")
- Settings>Smart assistance>Floating dock>Turn on "floating dock"

After 10 months my p8lte got wifi problem that it is not connecting to wifi after that my network is not working properly only in gsm my phone.got range when switch into 3g 4g no network only emergency call displaying that is the problem I think we cant use more than 1 year

neo, 10 Jul 2016try to disable the sms notificationi have tried everthing with sms
notification but still the same issue, beep is coming during music and interepts. and its only happning with headset plugin otherwise in phone speaker no issue found.

after upgrade to marshmallow there is one issue am facing during listing music, there is intereption of music or it's stop for some time when new sms is arrived, can anyone know how to resolve this because it's very iritating and i tried every step in settings but no way found to resolve this otherwise marshmallow is very ousam in perfomance.
