J5 or p8 lite?
Give me some sincere advice.

i I have 2 Huawei P8 Lite's after upgrading the 2nd one to latest firmware B170 the wifi will not connect to 90% of wifi devices. The 1st thing I did was full factory reset and wiped the phone. I have tried updates to B188, then full reset and new firmware B190 and still the exact same thing. It is clearly the firmware upgrade that has done this as it worked 100% prior to this and it has nothing to do with wifi security, power settings etc.... I can connect it to a Wifi on a E5577 LTE...

As long as you install Skype, there is video call....

Don't you have issues with the keyboard ( freezing or dissappearing when you want to type something)? Does the sound drops all of the sudden as for the previous models? Any issues with the SD card reader?

The Huawei P8 Lite is a good phone.
The camera and the processor and the battery life is excellent.
The one thing that i don't like is the 720p screen on it. But its a bloody good phone easy to use fits in your pocket well.
Good Gorilla glass.

Brian, 10 Mar 2016mine is the one where the dual sim one supports Micro-SIM in slot 1, in slot 2 you can insert ... moreit is either defective or injected with a single sim firmware i suspect the latter to be sure you need to check the build number of the device, anyway in both cases you should return it instead of going into the hassle of flash it with a dual-sim firmware.

Samsung A5 / P8 Lite
Which 1 is better Hello, mate,
Out of those two A5 is a much better option. It has better camera, built quality (metal instead of cheap plastic). A5 screen is also miles and miles ahead of P8lite's (the difference is enormous trust me, while A5 has one of the nicest looking screens, P8lite's screen is below average because it is really dim). Do not get fooled by reviews that state P8lite as a very good performer in cpu and gpu tests, A5 is really not that far behind (truth to be told they are both nothing special at all when it comes to processing power or gaming).
Samsung A5 is really miles and miles ahead as a more solid choice than P8lite, although P8 lite is not a bad phone, but since A5 price has gone down really just grab it. If you need one final reason to buy Samsung A5 instead of Huawei P8lite just look at dat UI of huawei phones.
Also please note that I am in no way a Samsung phone ( I would also recommend for example, Sony M4 aqua ), but seriously between those two phones the answer could not be more obvious.

AnonD-396766, 10 Mar 2016because there are three versions of P8-lite a Single sim one, a dual sim one with snapdragon, ... moremine is the one where the dual sim one supports Micro-SIM in slot 1, in slot 2 you can insert a Nano-SIM or MicroSD Card.... but the slot which supports Nano-sim is Not responding to my Nano-simcard
