Not an opinion, but a serious question...the sound on my phone is faulty. There's no sound for incoming messages/whatsapp or incoming calls. Selectively, the sound comes through but very rare. when i have my earphones on, the sound alerts come through. Then, when i'm playing the radio, it plays for a while (2-5min), goes silent for 2 seconds, then the volume goes louder. Minutes later (maybe 10-15min), the sound goes off completely even though the radio channel is still playing. So change radio channels and the sound comes back. What on this grean earth, can this be about.....#tearsrollingdownmyface#. People think I'm rude, with terrible phone manners, because i could be chatting and dare i put my device down, it's very likely that i'm missing the rest of the conversation.

Its battery swelling and a day after dead. Huawei service center asking AED 250 for replace battery. It is ridiculous

if you got a battery draining fast then do as follow :
1 - (Settings >> Wireless & networks >> More >> Mobile network >> preferred network type) choose "WCDMA/GSM auto".
2 - (Settings >> Wireless & networks >> More >> NFC) deactivate it.
3 - (Settings >> Wi-Fi >> Menu >> Advanced Settings) deactivate both "Network notification" and "Scanning always available".
4 - (Settings >> Display >> Brightness) activate "Automatic brightness".
5 - (Settings >> Display >> Sleep) activate "15 seconds" or choose wisely.
6 - (Settings >> Display >> Auto-rotate screen) deactivate it.
7 - (Settings >> Power saving) Activate Power plan "Smart".
8 - (Settings >> Location access) deactivate it.
9 - (Settings >> Protected apps) deactivate any apps that you do not want to run in the background.
10 - (Settings >> Security >> Apps with usage access) a list of apps that monitor your usage of apps turn them off or choose wisely.
11 - Open the notification bar then go to shortcuts scroll down to "Auto-sync" deactivate it.
there are also other features and Apps that you can deactivate, and activate them when needed, also please read the description on each option.

nandrolon, 09 Feb 2016Hey there, i need to decide p8lite or G7?I own a Huawei P8 Lite and i love it, so i recommend it, because after 3 months it still does what its supose to do, super fast and it dosen´t lag at any time. For me it´s be best phone for it´s price.

The phone is excellent.
My only problem is that it does connect well my car (VW Tiguan) on Bluetooth. Will somebody somebody assist.

@ Patrick latest phone are good I do not know the Xiami redmi 3 but I know p8 lite as a good phone you can maybe try the new phone and you can see how it perfomes comment on it maybe we will follow your foot steps.

I want this phone I looked at the specification and they look good to me but as all say seeing is believing I want to get the opinions of anyone who have it for more than a month and tell me the disadvantages of this phone

Hi,
I have been using this phone since around 5 to 6 months now.
Besides many petty issues regarding performance, main issue i have been facing is battery, which drains almost by mid day.
Any suggestion / Recommendation ?

I recently bought this phone 2 weeks ago.
Compare this phone with the Samsung S6,(yes, I'm comparing the P8 lite to the S6, that's how much I like the Huawei) overall, the P8 lite beats the S6.
Reason: I am genuinely surprised on how good this phone is retailed at £100 on sale.
The size of the phone feels good on the hand, so does the weight.
Fast process, very good quality screen to watch videos.
Even though this phone is powered by Android, its got features of Apples IOS.
I have not experienced any major problems with the phone. I also get a sort of double tap on keyboard, even though I only tap once. I do hope this gets solved in the next software update.
Other problems? None at all. Seriously.
This is how I feel about this phone. Its seriously worth the money, looks so business like and its not a problem.
Battery life: Like with all other smart phones currently in the market, you have enough to last you the day and be back at home to charge it again. (Better yet, bring the USB charger to charge your phone when ever, thats what most phone users do, its normal for now).
Would I recommend? Deffinately. All you have to do is walk in to a phone shop, compare the Huawei P8 lite to a Samsung S6 and realise that this phone is overall a better phone. And this is my opinion.
