opt, 13 Apr 2018can you send me the link for this? hopefully we can get p9 here in asiaThere is no link.... Huawei Officials in my country confirmed it to me through Facebook....this is the exact message they sent me -
"Hi, Thank you for getting in touch. We are in the process of testing the update for the Huawei P9 at the moment. Towards the end of April you will be able to get the oreo update."
After one year of use I am very satisfied with Huawei P9 (EVA-L09). It does everything I need fast and without problems. Admittedly camera is not the best there is but it is good for most purposes and has plenty of options. Battery life is nothing to brag about but is adequate taking me through day and quick charge helps too. I have nothing to complain with its display or raw cpu/gpu performance, both are solid stuff. It has taken some beating thanks to having a toddler and so far it has taken it all without a scratch. I do not understand why screen glass has rounded edges as it makes protective films and glasses useless but like I said so far the phone is ok without such addons..
The official android oreo update with EMUI 8 will be launched before the end of april here in asia. Huawei confirmed it :)
Peter16, 01 Apr 2018Question. How can I transfer files/apps from internal memory to memory card. Either use "Files" app or with a 3rd party file manager from Play Store, e.g. Xplore.
It's been a year for me with the p9 & I still love it dearly. No issues even after updating it
Am i the only one not to have emui 5 installed on my p9??
I was told by huawei a month ago that the update was ready for me ota but still nothing yet??
How can I transfer files/apps from internal memory to memory card.

I'm holding a EVA-L19.
Ever since the first update, the WiFi is crappy as hell. I have frequent disconnection, unable to detect WiFi and unable to connect despite being able to detect.
I changed my router, update it's sustems and others but this damned phone can't detect. My other devices, including a P9 lite has been working fine.
Personal experience; do not get this model.
