It ... moreWhen I go to Modes and then edit. There is nowhere to change beauty.
I go to the selfie camera, then swipe from left to right to go to the Modes screen. Here I click the little edit pen in the left top corner. Here I can remove 'Audio Note' and 'Watermark' and nothing else.

It works for me
Nice looking but with big issues.
I have had the P9 for 5 months now and here are my opinions.
* Selfie camera cannot disable the beauty mode filter. You have to toggle it off every time.
* Phone build quality - glass covering camera lenses gets scratched almost instantly, which will render the 'Leica' branded camera useless. Why is this not gorilla glass???
* The metal body is so soft it gets scratches too easy
* Fingerprint reader on the back is fast
* Camera takes great black and white images
* phone is generally fast and responsive
For me it is kind of a showstopper that the selfie camera does not allow you to disable beauty mode filter. I don't want to have to toggle it off every time I would like to take a selfie. I don't mind looking like I really do in real life on my pictures. So a function that artificially alters my looks is NOT a plus for me.
These are my opinions.

I might be due to terrible connection in your area.
This phone have no 4G-ONLY Mode. Very very bad on this matter. If 2 or 3 bar 4Gs, it is mostly going to 3G mode. Trying to manual select the network also not working.....This is my main hates about this phone. Other is 1 sim + 1 memory or 1 sim 4G + 1 sim 2G. However this phone is really super superb.

geek.ph, 31 Aug 2017I've been a P9 user for almost a week. I have tested if the allege dual camera scam is true. I... moreGood choice.
I've been using my P9 for almost a year, and I took this phone to travel through Europe and Australia, the camera performance is just simply brilliant.
In my case, if I use it to photograph continuously for quite a while, it'll turns out quite hot; whereas hardcore gaming, it was only a little warm. I think that's because of the cpu has to process the information from both cameras at the same time which causes the heat.
Anyway, I'm extremely satisfied. ;)
For Huawei P9 don't expect any updates from Huawei because they are shockingly appalling in making updates available. It's 1/2 way through 2017, Oreo has been announced yet Nougat is not available for UK users at all. The Hisuite application for UK users does not show any updates, it's not downloadable from their website although ironically a rollback package is ! There's been no announcements for uk users but huawei support insist it's being rolled out in the uk and you're one of the few who doesn't have the update. Maybe they think the public are droids and robots who will accept any old trashy statement but it's plainly obvious on twitter and facebook it just hasn't been rolled out in the UK. So great phone but bad support with zero updates from Huawei.
