Now the battery performance is same as that of marshmallow.

EiK, 29 Apr 201729.04.2017 update avaible to Android 7.0. Good work Huawei.Hi, what model ?
Traian, 29 Apr 2017I can confirm the battery issue after the update to Nougat, on L31 (3gb ram - Romania).
Did t... moreOk, my Nougat (L31) battery test has now concluded and the results are:
~23.5 hours performance with one charge, this breaking down into: ~11.5 hours of standby and ~12 hours of moderate usage (2-3 short calls, web browsing, facebook, youtube - screen brightness set to 50%).
- The biggest battery drainers were Android OS and Standby time.
On Marshmallow I was getting around 36 hours with one charge, under the same conditions.
- The results clearly show poor Android optimisation for this device, as Nougat should bring some improvements regarding battery life (Doze).
So we've waited 3 months for something that's broken (no wonder people buy iPhones and stuff)...
- If you want a new interface with slightly improved performance, better security, Vulkan API and maybe future updates, and don't mind sacrificing battery performance, then go ahead and update to Nougat.
- If you value battery performance more than anything else, then stay on Marshmallow.
I got nougat a week ago, i'm sure it will come for you guys soon, btw it works amazing on my p9 lite and ut made my phone faster. 😉
I got android 7.0 update a week ago, it's not beta i got the final one. I'm sure all of you will get it soon. Btw it works great and it made my p9 lite faster. 😉
Let's call this section : "Nougat Waiting and Crying" section coz that's how it sounds like...summoning the devil is easier than getting nougat.
I can confirm the battery issue after the update to Nougat, on L31 (3gb ram - Romania).
Did the update yesterday (1.99 gb in size) and immediatly after, I did a factory reset, so the phone is clean.
In 9.5 hours of standby (closed all backgroud apps, wifi/data off) the battery dropped 14%.
This is unacceptable, as on Marshmallow I was getting ~2% drop in the same coditions.
I'll try to contact Huawei about this...
