Let's call this section : "Nougat Waiting and Crying" section coz that's how it sounds like...summoning the devil is easier than getting nougat.
I can confirm the battery issue after the update to Nougat, on L31 (3gb ram - Romania).
Did the update yesterday (1.99 gb in size) and immediatly after, I did a factory reset, so the phone is clean.
In 9.5 hours of standby (closed all backgroud apps, wifi/data off) the battery dropped 14%.
This is unacceptable, as on Marshmallow I was getting ~2% drop in the same coditions.
I'll try to contact Huawei about this...

Just be sure what download you take (L11 of L21 or L31, you can find that info in the register of your phone)
If you do exactly as explained on the link above you will have your original P9lite back.
Oh yeah, turn off the automatic download in your phone or the next day you can start all over again because the damn emui5 is back ... :-(

I would like to ask, did you do a factory reset after you updated to Nougat?
agree on the battery draining issue after update to nougat. It is not significant, but it is there taking off that extra 5-6%. If you are still on marshmallow, leave it as it is. The picture blur when you call someone is the new UI although it is almost useless. Also you cannot install 3 party locking apps as they won't work with the fingerprint scanner as it will ask you to enter the password instead straight going to the home screen. Otherwise everything else is smooth nice. I hope the fix the minor issue which I highly doubt since the P10 lite is out.

I have done a rollback and i have my original phone back that i loved.
