I have my P9 Plus, and it is a really good phone even to this day, the specs are good and it's relatively smooth, and the battery life is still decent, but I hate that mine is stuck on Android 6 with no way of updating to Android 7, it just sucks becauuse Android 6 doesn't really have that much support left

The P9 Plus is nothing short of amazing. I have been using mine for 5 years and the battery life is still amazing...obviously it doesn't last as long as it use to but it's still good based on the years of wear and tear.

Huawei has one of the best after sales service in the world for call centres, repair centres, and technical support. I would recommend you give it a try, if you haven't done so already.
Early July 2022, I had a P9 battery replacement done by Huawei repair centre. The total cost was < USD10. They can change all other parts such as screen, main board, camera module, etc.. The service was door to door by courier at no courier cost to the customer. Their services are just exceptional.

My5, 15 Jun 2021same problem same usage 5 years now Same problem same usage and it happen after changing the battery.. I tried 3 batteries and still have the same problem.. I think it is the time to have a new one.

What a geeat phone. Would love to have Harmony OS but it will not get it.

Bro I just checked out the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and the specs are good but the P9 Plus still have a higher end CPU. The P9 Plus have a total of 17.2Ghz when you add all the cores while the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G have a total of 15.2Ghz. Other than that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G have more improvements in Storage, RAM and battery...though the most important part of the phone, the screen is better on the P9 Plus...Super AMOLED opposed to IPS LCD. It all boils down to what is more important to you.
