I just got this device still running android 6. Callers can't hear me when I call or when I'm called but it works fine when connected to my Bluetooth buds. Is there any fix to this

Is a pity the it didnt get android 8, but it still works great.I never got Android 7 and the phone didn't prompt me to upgrade to it so I still have Android 6.0 and I am able to use some of the basic apps like WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram without any issues.
Sarkirssian, 06 Oct 2024Great phone. Changed the battery and still works great.I have my phone since November 11, 2017 and I' m using the same battery and same charger. The phone is still in excellent condition and I am still using the original battery and charger it came with and I still get good battery life.

My P9 Plus still has better camera performance than my Huawei Nova 9 SE and Samsung A55. The only reason I have to buy other phones is due to the lack of upgrades and battery life.

It's not upgradeable officially as far as I know but there may be a mod for it. I don't currently have a link. Just use a search engine like Yahoo or Google to find it.

I have my P9 Plus, and it is a really good phone even to this day, the specs are good and it's relatively smooth, and the battery life is still decent, but I hate that mine is stuck on Android 6 with no way of updating to Android 7, it just sucks becauuse Android 6 doesn't really have that much support left

The P9 Plus is nothing short of amazing. I have been using mine for 5 years and the battery life is still amazing...obviously it doesn't last as long as it use to but it's still good based on the years of wear and tear.

Huawei has one of the best after sales service in the world for call centres, repair centres, and technical support. I would recommend you give it a try, if you haven't done so already.
Early July 2022, I had a P9 battery replacement done by Huawei repair centre. The total cost was < USD10. They can change all other parts such as screen, main board, camera module, etc.. The service was door to door by courier at no courier cost to the customer. Their services are just exceptional.
