I need a solid business phone with good screen real eastate. I am disappointed that Huawei drastically received the p9 plus screen size to 5.5. My LG G4 already comes with a 5.5 so i was hoping for at least a 6in fat boy.

Be warned that Huawei just paid to use Leicas logo. Leica had nothing to do with development of a camera for P9 phones. They just certified it (whatever that means). Just a trick to attract buyers and increase sales by Huawei. Photo quality of P9 is average at best. Leica must be really in need of financing if it sells right to use its logo on the products of average quality.

P9 plus has better looks and camera (and stereo speakers and force touch). Though p9 plus will take couple months before in stores.
P8 is kind of outdated in my view unless the 6.8inch screen is very very impprtant to you.

My intereste is peaked by the company but I need more information about their offerings....thanks

“The P9 and P9 Plus were co-engineered between Huawei and Leica. This is the first collaboration between the two companies following a long-term partnership that was announced in February. From the very beginning, Leica has been deeply involved in the development of these devices. There has been significant technological collaboration between Huawei and Leica around many aspects of the camera, including optical design, imaging quality, image data processing, optimization, and the mechanical construction of the camera module to the graphic user interface. The devices meet Leica’s highest imaging quality standards.”

It's a good product and little fake it's camera has not been made by Leica it have been made sunny optical it's just cretified by leica . I will definitely not make my mind on this until the full review comes and it's too damn costly what a silly company just wants to empty coustmer pockets by using some one name

If want great camera function get p9 plus (dual camera in rear)and if want gaming or internet surfing go mate8(6.0 inch big screen).Most important is both of devices original installed Android M 6.0.

I think this model will sell RM3,099 to RM3,299 on malaysia.Compare with apple iphone 6s(16gb) RM3,199 and samsung s7 edge(32gb) RM3,099.

So in my opinion the emptiness of your stolen mate8 will be filled with another mate8 or something like it.
And i agree with when you say that Huawei mate8 fulfilled your needs.
Because I feel the same like you about my mate8.
