cool and comfortable phone. I like the colors as well.
I am a mobile geek, and I really enjoyed using it.
plantagoo, 16 Feb 2011Hi Folks, where can I buy this phone? I can't find an online store to ship this device to G... moreeBay. Search for it and you can find it unlocked for $170. Grey and white are all they have in the eBay stores... I think. :)
I have a white u8300 and it's an awesome little phone! The trackball and physical keyboard are an EXCELLENT idea and the Android operating system is very well integrated. 5 out of 5

Just got this today and i really don't like it ...yet. it seems that i can not use my own songs from my sd card as ring tones, i go into youtube and try to search for something, i can type 2 letters, then it stops me from typing more. most android apps on the internet will not download to it. also it came with a 1gb sd card loaded with "their farvourite apps" none of which will download to the phone. just poor all round.
PRO: Yea i got it mad phone just cruise the net its pretty quick online will probs try to upgrade to 2.2 or 2.3 soon when i get bored. I love the phone though very capable. CON: The only thing is it can be a little slow and laggy but thats what im hoping 2.2 or 2.3 can fix im not sure though could anyone tell me.

jackyS6, 07 Jan 2011wow..is a really amazing phone..jackie, i won this phone and and i am having a *crisis*, the U8300, will it upgrade to 2.2 os or Gingerbread?? ps: if anyone can use FB chat on this phone, plz tell me the, how - what - where of it all :)
wow..is a really amazing phone..
i spent a day in Brisbane City walking from store to store, NO one retailer yet has the Huawei U8300 live as they call a mobile you can actually use that is powered up, so i was unable to know how the phone feels to operate :( "our main focus" one retailer said, "is selling plans" i was told at ***** to my amazement :/ i think that the "grove" around the lower middle of the unit looks strange, yet i wonder if it indeed serves any real design functionality? seems the only coulors available here are, "black and white", unlike the reassurance i got from one retailer that indeed the unit will support "facebook chat" on it's android operating system, once upgraded form 2.1 as standard to 2.2 OS, this for me to know for "sure" would have been the selling point as well as to hold a "live" Huawei U8300 here in "Brisbane". "so {@ $149.00 AUST} come on guy's lets get one out of the shrink warp hey plz!" ;)
