I purchased my Huawei U8500 on Sept. 13, 2011. The display messed up a month later. There is no display. Between Cincy Bell and Huawei I may never have my phone back. Each says that the other is supposed to replace it. Guess I am screwed. NEVER again buying a non-name brand phone...

Im using this quality phone as im writing, im in South Africa, super phone indeed, didnt like it at first but fell in love with it as i explored its functions. I need you to help me on upgrading the phone to v2.2

I am using this phone in Bangladesh. It is named here "crystal" under Grameenphone(Telenor) operator. It is great for value. Just 12160 TK or about $170 . GPS/google maps is great. Upgraded into froyo.

i updated to froyo and old driver won't work and like when on eclare driver installation pop up came.. now on froyo no pop up and i tried menually bt theres no exe file... am i the only 1 facing this problem??? i need some help as this phone is my modem without it i cant connect to internet on pc..

I have the phone, d problems are as follows:
1.The internal memory isnt dat high
2. You cant connect it to a computer hotspot
3. You cant kniw which applications are running when you minimize
4. Some applications do not close dey only minimize. why?
Though, i still love my phone.

becarefull to update android 2.2 in grameen crystal phone.you will be lose more feature even you can not use phone in computer as a modem. also there do not have radio option.

Then turn off ur pone and hold the volume up key and the endcall key, then press power button...... there u go :) it will start installing.... i did it the same way and it worked for me
