I've just got this watch off eBay. I really like it but as a novice can anyone give me any tips how best to use it please, as it didn't come with any manual or instructions at all? For example, I didn't even know how to turn on the wifi on it, which I feel a bit embarrassed about! ( Found it now! :D )

I ordered a new battery for it, since this one is really old as I see because it last only 1 day. And I ordered a speaker too, cause it's not working. Really a nice watch.
palash, 12 Mar 2022blood pressure measurement possible ?of course, but wristband needs to be tightened firmly in order for reading to show correctly
December 2023 and still works fantastic, and I am using it since 2015.
Still rocking mine in 2023. It's pretty old at this point, and I've had to replace the battery due to age and the motherboard due to leaving it on and swimming with it for a few hours in a pool.
I cycle between my Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra and I just can't get over how much nicer the Huawei watch looks even if it is technology wise pretty outdated. No NFC, no skin temp, no AFib, no blood o2, etc.
I'll continue to wear mine until Google makes it impossible to pair with my Pixel, and then I'll move to Asteroid OS.
It's a great watch but I'd probably recommend people to avoid it at this point. The last security patch was from 2017 and pretty much every smart watch out there has better tech features and better battery life. I get between 5-12 days from my tic watch with a mix of essential mode.
Huawei built this watch with the design first approach and while we are approaching a decade later it still holds up. 10/10
Will there be any update from Version 2,35 to a newer version in the wear os platform for this watch?
Sam, 29 Nov 2020Are there any recommendations for programs that continuously measure heart rate and sleep quality?huawei watch gt , i got it for about 2 months now and does a perfect job regarding your question

blood pressure measurement possible ?
Are there any recommendations for programs that continuously measure heart rate and sleep quality?
Great watch for everyday use. I have to charge mine every 2 days which is pretty good for a watch this old
This is a great watch, simplicity as 1 button to do all the function and sleek. I didn't use it for a few years, literally untouched, no charging till lately I start to use it for sports. The running data were synchronized well with Google Fit but show no routing map with phone alone. Routing appeared if I bring along the phone. For just measuring heartrate function, it could not be stored in Fit but was ok in running mode (parts if the captured data)
Having this watch for 5 years. Besides the fact that i have to charge it every day and ocasionally freezing, still running smooth and i'm not gonna change it till it breaks. 😁

Main problems are rubbish charger - takes ages to get it to sit right to enable charge and the watch faces "burn" into the screen! I have a pinky residue and even slight ghosting of numbers. Sent my first one back and Huawei replaced without question. Sadly, the second watch also got the faces "burned" in again. Battery has deteriorated too. Have to charge more than once a day now.
