I bought to... moreI had the same, if I keep the watch vertical (facing sideways and not up) it does not do that (e.g. properly holding the steering wheel from the side helps). Also, for me they are not necessarily steps but climbing data, when synced to google fit it also flags it as stairs climbed... There is a new firmware coming out so we will see. Otherwise the watch is pretty perfect for me and well, if I am careful while driving to keep it facing sideways it's fine. It's just more hassle than needed with this bug.

And only good thing is the battery last for 2 weeks. I bought to track my steeps and realised is counting steps while I’m driving. Thousands steps added. No way I recommended. Gt1 doesn’t do that. Sell for hall price. Shame on you Huawei. 😡😡😡

Does anyone has problem with answering WhatsApp/ messenger on gt2 46mm with Android (Pixel 2xl)? I just get missed call notification while when I connect watch to my wife's iPhone I can answer via the watch. Anyone had this issue?

Very good fitness tracker excellent battery life,
Excellent display but I am wearing it night time (sleeping time) after the midnight watch wear in hand starting mild to moderate numbness,
After that I can't where it night time

Ronald, 05 May 2020Hi, does huawei watch gt 2 work with celia? I think its only available in P40 series, watches not yet. But i also could see this working on gt 2 since it has speakers and mic. Wouldnt be a bad idea at all.

Im using GT2 also and so far everything is working better than i expected. The voice assitent would be a cool thing,but for now its a bit too much. Im sure that they will consider that in next models.

Slim, 21 Apr 2020Hello, i have the same problem, did you have any solution please ? Thank youI had the same problem on iphone but i changed the message settings. If you set them to be on so you can be able to read them on locked screen, you will receive the messages on the watch too.

I recommend it for the battery life and how stylish it is. The only other thing I want on it is an voice assistant, like google assistant or Huawei's own voice assistant

using for more more than a month. A good device, but few issues:
Heart rate way over normal when doing elliptical training.
no option to track some common sports like Badminton.
always on display only support 4 watch faces, cant have the one which we selected in the main display.
Rest everything works fine and it looks and feels premium.

Kinetix, 25 Apr 2020Specs says that it has no loudspeaker, so how can you talk with it? I dunno why it doesnt say but u can talk with it. Previous model GT couldnt do that. With GT 2 u can talk just fine and listen thru your watch. It has speakers, i use it occasionally. It works perfectly fine.

Has excellent battery life (approx. 2 weeks). Love the elegant and wearable design. It has many workout modes. U can talk and listen music with it.

watch gt2 is great smartwatch, I'm wearing it all the time, it has great design and many workout modes, it's water resistant and you can load tons of music in it
