Huawei is joining the Android Go party, following the likes of Asus, HMD and alcatel. The Zambian division of the company just showcased its first Go device, named Huawei Y3 (2018).

Huawei Y3 (2018) will have a 5” screen with a regular 16:9 ratio and resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The chipset is the Mediatek MT6737M, and it comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage, There are two cameras on board - an 8MP snapper with AF and LED on the back and a 2MP fixed-focus one on the front.

Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 4.0, and micro USB 2.0 to charge the 2,280 mAh battery. Measuring in 145.1 x 73.7 x 9.45 mm, the Y3 (2018) weighs 180 g and comes in three colors - White, Gold, and Gray.

Huawei Zambia does not reveal the price of the phone, but it will hardly be more than $100 since the Nokia 1 with similar specs and Android Oreo (Go Edition) costs around $85 in India.

DayLight robbery! also, Just like predicted. Android go will push more lowRam gadget. should be < $60 tho. 100 bucks should net us at least SD425/MT6750T, 2GB/16GB ram/Internal, 3000+ mah battery, & HD Screen. One without backdoor please ...
