This phone is perfect for someone who wants a good balance between price and quality. It's no high end phone, nor is it a low end phone (in my view).
For a quick run of some pros/cons that I can think of:
Pros- Runs smoothly; good battery life; looks good/handles well; resistent to damage and scratches
Cons- Cameras aren't the best; doesn't have much internal space ( a 10Gb SD card should be enough to make it run smoothly) ; in my case, it freaks out when I try to use it while conected to a computer.

I have had the phone for a bit and added a memory card and save everything on it. Have had only a great experience with no snags at all.
I have a lot of apps etc that I download too.
The battery life and general function of the phone is good too.
The front camera is only 2mp, and in proper lighting actually takes nice photos. so try that. You cant compare 8mp with 2mp?
Everyone obviously got different experiences, before buying any mobile, make sure you're happy with they specs I guess. ( no offence meant).
I have a P7 too, have no issues with either and will never switch to a different model.
It is a crap-load of value for the money you pay. But again, make sure you look at the specs and that you are happy with it. alternatively pay more for one of the higher spec models.
Just a few thoughts, to each their own. This is just my experience in the brand and in doing some research before purchasing a phone.

The back arrow, the return to home screen circle and the more options square do not light up...so when it is dark you are done...very dumb/annoying...no where in the configuration i could finde/change this, am i overseeing something???

Hello sir I'm absal Khan from tamil nadu, I used Huawei Y6 today I go to file manager (local internal storage) 's camera file 300photos Cut and goto memory card's paste to Android folder..@next i was folder name change (Android folder rename photos) ... Next I go to this folder (photo) but no photos why sir what problem? How to solve this problem please tell me .
