The Huawei Y7 Prime (2019) come out back in January, but the company has now refreshed it with a special edition complete with a beige faux leather back and 64GB of storage. Other than the cosmetic change and storage upgrade the phone is identical to the regular version.
The phone packs a 6.26-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 16MP selfie cam. The internals are powered by the Snapdragon 450 alongside 3GB RAM. Around the back, it features a 13MP main sensor with a 2MP depth sensor and a traditional centered fingerprint reader. Software wise the phone is running EMUI 8.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
The phone is currently available in Pakistan for PRK 30,999 ($220), but it's unclear what other markets will get it.
Faux leather is just 'plastic' (polyurethane) textured to look and sort of feel like actual leather. Are you thinking of suede?
So, the great almighty Huawei that people praised so much gave their fans faux leather back and increased the price to $220 for that HD+ display and sd450? Wow. And it launched with android 8.1 out of the box! Such a great mid-2019 device.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it's "real" faux leather, doesn't it wear more quickly. If used in pockets, it would look horrible in a few months
