Anonymous, 17 Nov 2020how did you install google play, is the phone unlocked or did you just install google play? The is no need for Google play store in these phone you just can use Huawei apps instead of play store. But you can change your phone to be iOS like I phones. These phone is so cool😎

I don't miss GPS. Perfect phone but should have se bonuses such us free data package to cover the GPS thing.

Do NOT buy this phone! You will regret it if you go for Huawei. What they don't tell you before, while you sit in the shop, waiting for the consultant to register the new phone to your account, is that without support from google play services, the phone is ultra-f*cked! The huawei equivalent for google play is worse than any app that existed in the prehistoric times. I'm giving you a helpful review and telling the HUAWEI BRAND to close their company down!

also missing ir led, integrated fm antenna, reverse usb charging... realy alltogether few dollars components...
Another scam is screen resolution, just eats up resources. And using different names for the same produc: P40 lite E alias Y7p

Lack of bloat/spyware is a quality.
This seems to be a nice phone, but as always something is missing. Here is gyro, 5Mhz wifi, nfc and a separate memory slot.
And as usualy oversized. Can't you make it less than 15x7cmx150g? I don't need those silly overstreched aspect ratios, 16:9 is enough, just make a good neutral bottom area to act as grip; it's too much troble holding from the sides, avoiding

I firstly shared from another model phone all the apps I needed thru share ... moreYou can voice type but you first have to download Google keypad, it's what I'm currently using, with that you can voice type. It's on the keypad setting my the top right. So you're all good to go✅.

I firstly shared from another model phone all the apps I needed thru share it. But then it couldn't be updated later. Then I saw an advert about how to download all the apps that wasn't available before, you go to the App Gallery, and search for "Petal search", download and then add to you homescreen, it will look like your Google search but it's different. There you can download any app.. I'm 100%happy now except that I can't voice search...

Excellent Phone. You just have to get used to the HMS. It's been 2months now. I don't even miss GMS (Google Mobile Services) or Play store. Found that phone is quick and efficient and battery last the whole day sometimes 2days depending on what I do eoth my phone daily. Great Camera, Great Screen Resolution. Great Design.

Quick one one of my colleagues bought this phone 5 months ago had a chance to play with it and test it she was worried that there's no YouTube obviously she didn't have a clue when she bought the phone, I told her that All Huawei phones that came out in 2020 and beyond won't be using Google services so I downloaded her the YouTube Vanced which is not bad, so back to the phone, in terms of everyday use the phone it's not that bad the display is decent the camera aswell that includes the battery, if you're in a tight budget I'd recommend it but be prepared to suffer with the lack of Google services other than that it's a good decent smartphone.
