Are you sure about the Y9 Prime receiving EMUI 12? I haven't seen any news about this? Where?

After more than 2 years it's still working very well. However out of nowhere it got issues with the network. I switched it of, when switching it on it got stuck in a boot loop. Turns itself on and crashes while starting up until the battery is flat. I opened it up disconnected a few connections sprayed some wd40 and it works fine like before.

Been using this for about 2 years of more. Best phone i've ever owned. Unfortunately it got dropped the other day and the screen is all broken in many places. So time for a new Huawei. Which one to buy?

This phone will receive EMUI 12 which is great but I don't understand why the Huawei P Smart Z is not getting EMUI 12 although both devices are very similar.
