First time using a Huawei phone.
It's quite fast compared to my previous Samsung Galaxy Coreprime.
Cons
1.The keyboard characters are limited compared to the Samsung
2. The FM radio reception is weak compared to the Samsung
3. It has not feature to record the FM Radio

Disappointed.
PROS:
1. Large full screen with no interference from a front camera.
2. Great battery life.
CONS:
1. Of the claimed 4GB RAM, only 1.2GB is available with no apps installed. That is exactly the same as my previous phone with only 2GB RAM.
2. Huawei removed the "touch to capture" and other handy features from their camera app.
3. Alarm setting is tedious with no direct time input.
4. No notification light.
5. ALL available cases partially covers the pop-up selfie lens, causing a white vignette effect at the bottom of the pictures.

I was skeptic about using huawei as i always used samsung but it is a very good surprise. It is much more better than my samsung s10. Even the fingerprint sensor is great. I loved the sapphire blue and the screen size is perfect.

I am using Huawei Y9s since February 05, 2020, this phone is awesome but i have a query, it does not have a notification light which blinks on receiving new messages or turns on while charging. Please anyone reply to resolve my issue.

I have had this phone for 2 weeks now and absolutely love it, the massive screen is very nice to watch Youtube and Netflix on and game with, every game I have thrown at it works flawlessly. The cameras and software are amazing especially considering the price point, I have taken some amazing selfies and family shots that look professional grade quality. The storage is huge and very welcome as is the dual sim slot. I can't say anything bad about this phone it covers all the bases for me!

I just assumed that this phone had a notification led which it does NOT have..I take full responsibility for NOT checking..I tryed an app called LED Blinker which does not work.Im not interested in the camera flash app either..I will find a way to dump this phone and do better homework next time...
Otherwise I liked the phone ..

GSMArena said there is a dedicated slot for microSDXC card, but mine got a shared SIM slot, so now I can't use it because I need 2 sim cards

The device has a live dem... moretry this, long press on icon - retail setting - pass 1122334455 - confirm - allow this app to be uninstalled - pass( this first two is zero)-00CDIAGE- (large letters) coonfirm, then go to apps and uninstall ,i hope it helps you.
