I have been using this phone for 21 months now. And, it has been drooped from me several times, it never made any tiny scratch or have affected the functioning of the phone. It is working perfectly yet. Good battery capacity as well. Only concerned about the camera clarity. which was not good as I expected.

After all these years today I learnt that this phone has a virtual proximity setup rather than having a physical proximity sensor. All these years I'm facing issues with sudden screen wakeups during calls

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2021I have a problem regarding my front camera Huawei y9 prime . It still pops but I cannot captur... moreSame issues. I just encountered this problem awhile ago. Took some shots using the rear cam then when its time for me to do a selfie, the camera went up but has black screen only. Eventually I tried fixing it by following what I researched on the net but to no avail. One last thing I haven't done is to do a factory reset but I am not sure if it will fix this. Now backing up my image files on Google photos which will take a day to finish. I am not keen on doing the factory reset yet since I feel that the problem is with the front cam mechanism. Yes, this is the only phone and gadget I have terrible since I rely on his for my virtual meetings. Will try to visit a Huawei official repair center very soon
