Huawei Android Rumors Accessories

Huawei is going to announce the Mate 20 Pro on October 16 in London and we’ve been seeing more and more leaks surrounding the upcoming Huawei flagship. Today, some new leaks reveal Huawei’s possible AirPods competitor and some more images of the alleged Huawei Mate 20 Pro and its super thin bezels and dual-curve display like Samusng’s flagships or as Huawei has done on the Mate RS and Mate 10 Porsche design models.

Roland Quandt, frequent leaker of all things mobile has tweeted a couple of images of the alleged Huawei Mate 20 Pro (or non-Pro). At this stage, it’s no longer certain which device we’re looking at. There have been mixed rumors about whether the Mate 20 Pro would have a large notch or a smaller water-drop style notch.

Here's a li'l peek at the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. More later. Lots of screen, I can already see myself hating the reflexions cause by the curved sides. pic.twitter.com/sAr9VaYETr

Another peek at the Huawei Mate 20 (Pro). Not so sure anymore if this is Pro or non-Pro, sorry. pic.twitter.com/AVVhQahi74

Another product revealed by Quandt is the “Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro”, which is a blatant copy of the Apple AirPods in its second iteration. Huawei’s first-gen Freebuds came out earlier this year but don’t resemble the AirPods as much. According to Quandt, the Freebuds 2 Pro will have a Qi-enabled charging case.

Not only that, but another leaked render suggests that the Freebuds 2 Pro case can be charged wirelessly with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. This would certainly be cool and something that even Apple did not market first. Although, Apple did file some patents for the concept of charging Apple devices with other Apple products such as charging an iPhone on a MacBook or even charging the AirPods by simply placing the case on top of an iPhone.

Yep, this is the Mate 20 Pro in a marketing shot for the new Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro. It isn't as big as we all thought - under 150mm length. Oh, also, Huaweis new wireless charger is in this pic too. More here: https://t.co/XGKV1n1f6o pic.twitter.com/8mf9jW21C0

Should the Freebuds 2 Pro be a real thing, it’s also said that they might come in a second color: black. By contrast, the Apple AirPods only come in Apple’s hyper-glazed white. Huawei’s buds are slated to go for between 150 and 160 EU.

In any case, we’ll find out about all things Huawei Mate 20 Pro on October 16, which is when the Chinese phone maker’s launch event is scheduled to take place in London.

Are you any more excited for the Mate 20 Pro now or would you rather wait until next month to see what’s up?
